Bikes and Balls

It was a warm, albeit windy day today.  After Reagan finished her homework, we all went outside to play!

riding bikes

this is Reagan's version of riding with no hands!
we moved to the back yard for some ball practice
Reagan wanted to "strike a pose" for the camera
they ganged up on me and both played goalie against me

Field Trip

Today, Cooper and I took a little field trip to see Greg at work and have lunch with him.  Cooper was so excited to see his daddy and his tractors!

wanting to be like daddy!
after lunch with daddy, Cooper and I ran a few errands in the big city before coming home!

Mondays with Mom

Today was a teacher workday for Reagan's school, so she and I spent the morning together while Cooper was at pre-school.

We had a breakfast "date" at IHOP, then ran some errands before we picked Cooper up from school.
after lunch, we went on a walk/ride around the neighborhood
they love to take pictures of silly shadows
when we finished our bike ride, we played in the back yard
Reagan was showing off some of her dance moves
 soccer practice
Cooper will make a great goalie one day
doing a victory dance of his own!
finally, we had to do a low energy activity ~ sidewalk chalk
Reagan drew a hop scotch board for us

Scenes from School

At school this past week, Cooper learned about the letter "S".  I tried to supplement his learning at home, continuing with the letter "S".  Here are a  few of the worksheets that we did at home.

Stegosaurus
 Snake and tracing letters
 painted snake
he's doing a great job writing his name all by himself
Snail - and he had to find the letter "S" and circle it
this was our memory verse for the week.  He colored everything orange because he said that he wanted them to be from Tennessee
Reagan wrote this sweet note at school about Greg.
"My dad is grate (great) because he makes frich toste (french toast) somedays.  One day when I was five or six I whet (went) on a baty (date) with me and my dad.  My dad is nice to me.  My dad is good at cooking frish toste (french toast).  He play with me sometimes."
I put this in a frame and Greg is going to hang it on his wall at work!  Oh, and he also made french toast for breakfast this morning!!
