Friday Night Football

Tonight, we attended our local high school's football game.  We pass the field every day when taking Reagan to her school and Cooper always asks if we can watch them play.  Since we didn't have Bible study tonight, we took the kids on a family date.

Reagan liked watching the cheerleaders, the band, and the game.  She was very interested in how the game was played and how the teams scored points

Full Day

Today was Cooper's first FULL DAY of Kindergarten.  This is the first day all of the students will be in class together!  He was a little nervous, but walked in like a big boy after giving me a high-five!

Busy Day

Today was a busy day for our family.  Cooper had his second half-day of Kindergarten.  Reagan's Brownie troop started up their meetings for the year, our church had a back to school party for the kids and Reagan led worship with her Kid Rave crew, AND I had to go to parent night at Cooper's school.

Skater Girl

Reagan was invited to a classmate's birthday party at a local roller skating rink.  She had so much fun and even skated by herself a little.  She hadn't been skating since she went to another friend's party last year!

We had a good time, but my backside will be sore for a while to come!  I took a pretty hard fall when Reagan grabbed on to me to get her balance.  I'm getting too old for this stuff!!!!

Dreaming

After dinner tonight, we went to Target to run some errands.  Cooper asked if he could go look at the toys one aisle away.  When I found him, he was sitting in the middle of the aisle, dreaming of what toy he could purchase next!

 

1st Day of Kindergarten

Today was the first day of Kindergarten for Cooper.  They are slowly transitioning the kindergarteners in this year ~ they go 1/2 day per week for 2 weeks, then start a normal all-day, full-week schedule.

2nd Day of Third Grade

We took pictures on the second day of 3rd grade because it was the first full day of school...and she had on another pair of new shoes!

First Day of Third Grade

We officially have a third grader in the house!  Reagan started school today (her 3rd school in 3 years) and came home declaring she "knows why I (mom) liked 3rd grade so much!  She had a great day! And she really loves 3rd grade!"

Shooting Range

Greg took Cooper to the shooting range (backyard) today.  He taught him the proper way to hold a gun and how to care for it.  Cooper can't wait to do this again!
