Christmas Eve 2014

What a fun day we've had!
we found Snowflake this morning...he brought gifts!
He left a sweet good-bye letter
Cooper and Reagan took turns reading the letter
for a few minutes, they could hug Snowflake and say their good-byes
Snowflake brought a MineCraft Enderman
He brought skate guards for Reagan
 Cooper helped bake cookies...
 Reagan helped decorate them!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday Greg!  The kids are on Fall Break yesterday and today, but they got up early this morning to bake a cake for their daddy's birthday!
ready to bake
 1st the cake mix
 then, the water
 next is the oil
 Cooper added the eggs
 time to mix the batter
Reagan helped to grease the pan
 cheers!
 sweet kids
Happy Birthday, Dad!
Finally, it's time to ice the cake
the finished product - the kids decided not to put icing around the sides
Reagan wanted to put sprinkles on the cake...stars because "daddy is our star!"
Dinner's done - time to eat cake
yum!
the kids were so proud of the "party" they put together!

Sandidge Snow Camp

School was closed again today due to the snow, so we had Sandidge Snow Camp today.

Having the morning snack before "school"
Reagan was eager to get to work
Cooper skipped school and headed upstairs to play

Reagan is learning so much. She can read all of her colors and put the right color with it!
working hard
Cooper must have gotten lonely because he brought some of his toys downstairs to be near us.
Then, it was time for "recess". We went outside and played in the snow. Cooper brought some dinosaurs to play in the snow with him.
Reagan thought that was a great idea
this boy loves to throw snowballs!

Look at the joy on his face!

Reagan had a great time too, although she asked me to "stop taking her picture"
Time to go sledding
Cooper discovered his love of sledding today.
Cooper, Reagan and I all went on the sled together. (Just a self portrait before the slide, Greg was at work again today. Reagan told him he was missing out on a fun day!)
They had a great time sledding together

Let's do it again!
Cooper used his dinosaur's tail as a spoon and scooped up some more ice cream to eat!
(almost) a family portrait
Reagan went inside, but Cooper and his new love of sledding stayed out for more!
He even braved the sled by himself
Whee!
We came back in for lunch, and a certain little boy got comfortable on the couch. Playing in the snow is a lot of exercise. Especially when you climb the hill as many times as he did today!
Lunch time in the "cafeteria"
Instead of dinner and a movie, they had lunch and a cartoon!
After a nap for Cooper and quite play for Reagan, we had a tea party ~ complete with m&ms and gummies for snack.
The gentleman pouring some tea

Enjoying a little snack
It's seems strange to have a tea party without Gigi!

Cheers!

Such cute kids!
For our final activity of the day, we made brownies!

Cooper helped mix the batter. Reagan supervised

Reagan had to make sure it was mixed properly

We had a great day ~ but I'm almost out of activities. What will we do tomorrow?
