Deja Vu - School's Out Day 7

Before we went to bed last night, we knew school would be delayed an hour today.  But we awoke to 2" of fresh snow and school's were cancelled for the day once again.  This makes the 7th consecutive school day that school has been closed.  Add in the weekends, and we have had 11 days of togetherness!

It's so pretty, but the snow can go away now!

Ice Day #2

School was closed again today because of the weather, so I worked from home and let the kids have another carefree day!

it snowed quite a bit this morning

the wind was howling - there were gusts up to 30mph!

 we ventured out before lunch to play in the snow (and ice)

 then it was time to go sledding!

we moved to the neighbor's driveway for a little more incline

the sledding wasn't too good today, so we went on an icicle hunt!

 too bad Greg had to go in to work today!

 they thought sucking on the icicles was "the best thing ever"!
