Fun in the Sun

I picked the kids up a little early from camp today so we could come home and play outside!  Reagan has been in to riding her bike lately, and Cooper loves to chase bubbles!  We also had fun playing hide-n-go seek.

 She is so beautiful!

Wheels

Reagan is loving her re-discovery of bike riding!  If she keeps it up, it may be time for a bigger bike in the near future!  Cooper practiced riding without training wheels, but no pictures of that as I had my hands full trying to teach him how to balance.  He's "this close" to riding all by himself!
she ran out of steam going up the hill!
after bike practice, Cooper wanted to ride his scooter - something he can do by himself!

Happy Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day cleaning out closets and the toy room!  We did have a few hours to spend outside playing too!
Reagan remembers how to ride her bike!  It's been a while
Cooper drew all over the driveway!
He got warm and had to take off his shirt...and show off his muscles!

Reagan found and trapped a Velvet Ant
it's actually a "wingless wasp"
she's reading all about it on the internet
 We played bubble ninja too!

Tuesday Fun

Our day started off with a dental appointment for Reagan (no cavitites, probably braces in 1.5-2years).  I took her to school, then I went to work.  Cooper had to wait until the afternoon for his dental appointment because of achievement testing at the school (no cavities, needs to stop sucking his thumb IMMEDIATELY!).  After Cooper's visit, I picked Reagan up from After School Care and we went home to play.  All the neighborhood kids ended up at our house for bubbles, chalk, scooters and a game or two of tag and hide-n-go seek.

why can't they be this sweet all the time?!?
this makes my heart so happy to see all the neighborhood kids at our house
I've always wanted to be the "fun house" where the kids come to play!
 they had bubble busting wars!
 they had scooter races
I can't convince Cooper to take off his training wheels - he doesn't want to take the time to learn to ride a bike, he just wants to be able to ride
