Saturday Stuff

The kids and I stayed home today while Greg helped some friends with their move.  The kids and I worked a little, then had a little fun!
Cooper helped by cleaning the return air grates
After chores, we had a little dance party in the hall
Reagan joined in on the fun too!
Later in the afternoon, Girl Scout Cookie delivery began in the neighborhood
 Samoas are Reagan's personal favorite
I watched from our front porch as Reagan made her first delivery
 the cookie hand-off
 collecting payment
 on to the next customer
such a cute cookie delivery girl

Small Group Thanksgiving Lunch

We had our Bible study small group over for Thanksgiving lunch this afternoon.
the house needed to be cleaned before everyone arrived, thankfully I had a helper!
I didn't take any pictures of the whole group today, and only took a few of the kids.  We had 10 adults and 4 kids over today
 Annabelle & Reagan
 Maggie & Cooper
After lunch, the girls went outside to play...not really sure where Cooper was!
We had such an enjoyable afternoon of talking, laughing and eating!

Stay at Home Saturday

For the first time in a very long time (almost a year), we were able to spend our Saturday at home.  Cooper's soccer game was cancelled due to all the rain we've had lately, and the ground was too wet to go to a Pumpkin Patch like we planned.  So, we just enjoyed sleeping late and doing nothing.
the girls had homemade waffles for breakfast
Cooper did have to do a few chore - taking out the recycles...in daddy's shoes

Work Before Play

After being out of school for a week due to snow and ice (of which, I missed ALL of it because I was out of town for work), the kids were going stir crazy!  So, this morning, I put them to work... chores... dusting, vacuuming, dishes, and anything else I could think of!  We worked until noon, then they were able to watch a few cartoons for their good work effort.
Cleaning the air return grates
 vacuuming the toy room
 vacuuming the stairs
the stairs down to the basement needed vacuuming too!
Then, it was time to play...
football
...rock climbing
 ...a little swinging
 ...ok, a lot of swinging
playing kickball

 ...jumping
...having wheel barrel races
 spending time with dad
 more kickball
 So good to be outside!
Reagan didn't want to come outside and play, she took a shower and played inside
she has such a great imagination
