Halloween Scenes

Here are a few pictures of our Halloween festivities, from our photographer friend John.
we started with dinner ~ BBQ chicken
Greg secretly wanted to be Darth Vader!

let the trick or treating begin!
Our sweet neighbor, Mr Burl (who sadly passed away 2 weeks after this night on 11/14/14)
then the rains came and we had to stop our outdoor festivities a little early!

Boo!

This year for Halloween, our Bible study group decided to have dinner together and then let the kids trick-or-treat around our neighborhood.
we started with BBQ chicken, rice & green beans
 the kids were so cute
We had a professional photographer follow our kids around tonight!
(Mr John is a photography instructor at the local college...more pictures to come from him!)
 Sacagewea
 Darth Vader
We may have waited a little too late to go out ~ after 6 houses, the rain was coming down so hard that we had to turn and come back home.  The kids didn't seem to mind, they had enough candy and got to play for the rest of the evening!

Pumpkin Carving 2014

This was the first year that we actually carved pumpkins.  We've painted, put stickers on, & made "Mr Potato Head" Pumpkins in previous years; but today the kids got to touch the insides.
Reagan was not happy to put her hands in the pumpkin
 Cooper thought it was fun!
Or, maybe it was a little gross!
Look how disgusted Reagan is with the whole process (...and carving was her idea!)
dad to the rescue...but still an unhappy face!

Cooper's...
 Reagan's...
where did this silly boy come from
Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween 2013

Happy Halloween!  The kids were ready to go trick-or-treating as soon as they got home from school today.  We did go out a little earlier than normal as rain was in the forecast.  But thankfully, the rain held off and Reagan & Cooper were able to their bags full of candy.

can you tell he liked being a ninja?
