We've Moved

We closed on our new house today!!!  The kids (and we) are super excited to be living closer to family and we can't wait to get settled in.

Saying "So-long" to the Sandidges

This evening, our Bible Study group had a "Saying So-long to the Sandidges" get together.  We have met together every Friday for the past 4 years ~ mostly to study the Bible, but let's be honest, there was a whole lot of fun going on too!  Our Bible study group was as close as family can be and we are going to miss them dearly.  So, this is not good-bye, but see you later...because we have formed incredible bonds that can't be broken by a few hours of driving and crossing a state line!

Best Friends

We've begun our round of saying "good bye" to all of our friends.  Today, Reagan's long time friend Emma came to play in the pool with us!  Reagan and Emma are church friends and were in the same kindergarten class and a had a few classes together in the first grade.

There may or may not have been a few tears shed when saying our final good-byes this afternoon.  Hopefully, this isn't good bye ~ it's just see you later!

SOLD

Friday the 13th is usually thought of as unlucky, but for the Sandidges today was a good day!  We sold our house!!

 It was a little sad as the movers carried everything out of the house.  I may or may not have shed a few tears!  This was the house where we brought our children home to and watched them achieve all their milestones.

We're staying in a friend's basement for a few weeks until we are able to close on our new house!

FOR SALE

We put our house on the market Monday. Let's all pray the market won't affect us too badly. The plan is to relocate to Asheville, NC for Greg's job.

With a move, however, come many prayer requests: A new church home that is just as wonderful as the one we have here; a job for me; daycare for Reagan and Cooper that is equal to what we have here; and the ability to find THE house once ours sells.

So, if you know of anyone wanting to move to Hickory, give us a call ~ we have the perfect house for them!
