Saturday Scenes

It was a busy Saturday for the Sandidges.  First up, Reagan attended a friend's roller skating birthday party (which meant I also attended & skated at the party).  Then, we picked up Cooper and Greg for lunch and to run some errands.  When we came home, the boys played indoor football and then we watched "Simon Birch" for our family movie night.
Reagan found that it was easier to roller skate with in-line skates than regular roller skates.  It was more like ice skates for her.

This is us skating together before the big fall (mine, not Reagan's).  I'm bruised really good and am pretty sure I may have cracked my tail bone.  I believe it's time for a certain 41 year old to hang up her skates!
Cooper has discovered being a dj - he loves to wear his headphones for no reason at all!

We ended the night with dinner and a movie

VOL Orange

We spent the day preparing for the Tennessee football game later this afternoon.  I cleaned the house, ordered dinner and made a few snacks while the kids helped me by having good behavior and playing nicely together!
I caught a sweet moment between siblings watching a video
Unfortunately, they heard the click of the camera!
they have both learned the "I Love You" sign and I love to see it!

Cooper loves to play air hockey
Our friends from Dallas, TX were in  for the holidays and stopped by to watch the game with us.  The dad (Dee) is a Tennessee graduate and didn't want to miss the game!  Cooper loved playing with boys (as our Bible study group is all girls) ~ Cooper, Hooper & Neyland would be T-R-O-U-B-L-E if they lived closer to each other!
these are the only pictures I took of the gang all night

We've had a little too much togetherness over the past 2 weeks...the fighting has begun!

Rocky Top

Our friends from NC came over for the final UT home football game of the year.  We tailgated from 9am until the game started at 7:30pm!!  We had a great time catching up with each other, eating, playing games and watching other football games on TV throughout the day!
our set up for the day!
no tailgate is complete without corn hole
of course, the boys had to throw the football around too
we took a stroll down the strip to walk off lunch!
then, we headed back so we could watch football, eat dinner and head down for kick off
the sun went down and it got cool!
never fear, we had a fire pit too!

Smokey was wrapped up in his blanket again this week!
It got COLD - we had on 2 shirts + a thermal shirt, jeans + thermal pants, fuzzy boots + socks, gloves, a toboggan, and heavy coats!!
Me and Jessica in our twin toboggans!
Although the score wasn't what we wanted, we had a great time spending the weekend together again.  I'm sure they'll be many more days like this in our future!

Today was the home opener for our beloved Tennessee Vols.  It was the first sell out for TN in 7 years!  Our friends from NC came over to attend the game with us.
 We started tailgaiting around noon
