Final Friday

We spent our final Friday in town doing some things that can only be done here.
first up, we went to the science center
the dinosaur exhibition is still going on and the kids loved it
I've created a monster of my own!  Cooper used my phone all day to take pictures!
I think this was their favorite place in this city
we also went to the aquarium section of the center
 Cooper taking more pictures
 he touched the crab shells
 seeing "Smiley" one more time
After the Science Center, lunch &grocery shopping...it was time to go to the pool
Cooper swimming under water
Reagan jumping off the diving board
Reagan swimming under water
to say they have enjoyed having a pool out their back door is an understatement!
 horsing around

Good Friday

Today was the start of Spring Break for Reagan and Cooper.  We also had a showing on our house, so we needed an activity...off to the Science Center we go.  Reagan didn't get to see the dinosaur exhibit last time we were there and she was very excited to see it today!

She found they toy demetriodon to go with the life size replica
 digging for fossils
 watching the dinosaur movie
 playing in Dino-Land
making silly shadows on the way to the aquarium
the real reason we visit the Science Center ~ the stingrays

Busy as a Bee

Today was a busy day for the Sandidges ~ it leaves me wondering how I ever had the time to work?!?

Cooper and I took a field trip to Chick Fil A, Target and Lowes
While Reagan was at a Girl Scout outing, Cooper and I visited the Science Center's Dinosaur attraction.  He loves dinosaurs, but wasn't sure about the moving, roaring, life size replicas!
we watched a movie about the dinosaurs
he was too into the movie to smile for the camera
 playing with the dinosaur display
 digging for dinos
we then went and visited the aquarium portion of the center
Smiley the Stingray was there to greet us!
 Cooper petted Smiley
moving on to the science portion of the center
oops, had to go back to watch the feedings for the sea horses
Smiley was showing off, swimming on his (her?) back
 now, more science
 our thermo energy waves
when we went to pick up Reagan, we caught her finishing up one of her projects
 a self portrait
 a puppet
After the Girl Scout outing, Reagan had soccer practice
 cheering on her team
 defending the goal
 trying to score
 look at her expression
 caught in action
GO BLAZE!
