Summer Fun at Ms Beth's

We spent the afternoon at Ms Beth's pool.  The kids had a great time swimming and watching cartoons when the rains came!

Tonight, Reagan and Cooper attended their first basketball game. Our friend Anah is a cheerleader for her middle school and their team was playing close to our house, so we decided it would be a fun, spur of the moment trip!

Long Time, No See

Today after church, we had lunch with our friends Beth and Tim. They invited anyone who had ever been part of their life group to enjoy Christmas dinner with them. We were a part of their life group when we first moved to Hickory and have remained friends all these years. Even though we may not see each other as often as we would like, it's great to have friends that you know you can count on no matter what!

After lunch and a little playing, Cooper climbed up in my arms (with his "packpack") and took his 2 1/2 hour nap! It's not often that he wants to sit in my lap, so I enjoyed every minute of it!

Long Time No See

This afternoon, Reagan, Cooper and I were able to spend the afternoon with friends that we hadn't seen in a long time. Reagan's camp is a half day again this week, so today she went to spend time with Beth, Anah & Sera. After work, I picked Cooper up from school and we headed to the pool too! Not many pictures, too much time spent cooling off in the water.

We spent a fun Sunday afternoon at Ms Beth's house swimming with Anah & Sera. The water was a little cold, but we still had a great time.

Sunday, Ms. Beth threw herself a birthday party at her pool and invited me & Reagan. We had a great time swimming and enjoyed the cookout afterwards.
