Mother's Day 2015

Happy Mother's Day 2015!
Reagan and Cooper made me breakfast - a bowl of oatmeal with strawberries, and presented me with cards and flowers.
at church, they had photographers there to take family pictures as a Mother's Day present.  (we just happen to have our photographer in our small group and he sent us a sneak peak of our photo)
After church, we ate lunch with Gigi & Bubba at Calhoun's
we took a few selfies while we waited
we also took pics while we waited on our food
Cooper was O.V.E.R. taking photos!!!
but he perked up once lunch was over
story of my life...rabbit ears!

Splotchy

Cooper woke up this morning with a rash covering most of his body.  After a trip to the doctor's office, Cooper was on the road to recovery.  The doctor said that his rash was an allergic reaction to something, but since we hadn't changed laundry detergent or he hadn't eaten something strange, it's really hard to determine what it is.  Hopefully, it will clear up within a day or so.
Cooper was pitiful ~ he was crying and asked if he was going to look this way forever.
Since it was lunch time when he got back to school, I stayed and ate with him.

Double Digits - Happy 10th Birthday, Reagan!

At 12:38am early this morning, Reagan turned 10 years old!!!  She could not be more excited to be in double digits!
As is tradition, birthday pancakes!
Cooper placed all the candles (he was a little excited about Reagan's birthday too!)
 She's TEN!
Sweet birthday girl
this brother and sister love to celebrate!
Reagan took Dunkin' Doughnuts in for her class this morning, then I took Reagan Sonic for her lunch.  Her order:  a corn dog, tater tots and a fruit punch to drink
After school, Reagan had a Girl Scout meeting.  She took trail mix as a snack for everyone there!
They learned about choosing your words carefully, because once they're said, you can't take them back.  Just like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube.
Reagan chose Taco Boy for her birthday dinner
 fun family night!
Once we got home, Reagan opened a few more gifts.  A gift card to Barnes and Noble from Ms Connie.
a special coloring book from mom & dad
Skate booties from mom and dad
Cooper and I went to Wal-Mart at 6:45am so he could pick out a special gift for Reagan
 Pokemon cards
He's a great brother with such a giving heart
We ate another slice of Reagan's ice cream cake, then let her watch a cartoon.  I'd say she had a wonderful birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, REAGAN!
You're our best girl ever!
We love you with all our hearts!

Sunday Fun

We ate lunch at Steak N Shake after church...none of us had ever eaten there before.
So cute in his paper hat
Cooper was the photographer for the day.  He took this photo of the two of us.
and I found a dozen or so selfies on my phone!
 Dad and Reagan
Reagan took a few photos too!
After ice skating practice, the ice cream truck made it's way through our neighborhood!  The kids can't resist!
The neighborhood kids' newest mode of transportation
trying out her new bubble gun
 bubble were everywhere!
