Vacation 2012 ~ Going Home

Today was "go home" day, and the kids were not ready to go.  All week, they had gotten up around 7-7:30am, but today...we had to wake them around 9:15am.  We even let them ride home in their pajamas!

 We stopped for lunch at the BEACON in Spartanburg, SC.  This drive in has been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

Everyone enjoyed their lunch and milkshakes, but as we were leaving Reagan was stung by a bee.  It was very dramatic to say the least!  After a couple of hours of wailing in the van, she was able to finally calm down and watch a video.  By the next morning, you could hardly tell where she had been stung!

Vacation 2012 ~ Day 6

Knowing this was our last day of vacation ~ we made the very most of it.  We spent all day at the pool and beach.



Reagan and I were the 1st ones at the pool this morning ~ she had the pool all to herself

 Cooper jumped to Gigi and knocked her sunglasses off into the pool...never fear, Reagan is an expert diver!

 We didn't even "pretty up" to go out to eat tonight.  We let the kids play in the water today so they could make the most of their last day of vacation, so we just walked to THE FROSTY FROG CAFE and had dinner

 It wouldn't be a day of vacation without a stop at THE FROZEN MOO for one (or two) last scoops of ice cream

 Cooper wanted to go back to the pool after dinner, but it was closed for "maintenance", so he went back to the beach instead
