Double Digits - Happy 10th Birthday, Reagan!

At 12:38am early this morning, Reagan turned 10 years old!!!  She could not be more excited to be in double digits!
As is tradition, birthday pancakes!
Cooper placed all the candles (he was a little excited about Reagan's birthday too!)
 She's TEN!
Sweet birthday girl
this brother and sister love to celebrate!
Reagan took Dunkin' Doughnuts in for her class this morning, then I took Reagan Sonic for her lunch.  Her order:  a corn dog, tater tots and a fruit punch to drink
After school, Reagan had a Girl Scout meeting.  She took trail mix as a snack for everyone there!
They learned about choosing your words carefully, because once they're said, you can't take them back.  Just like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube.
Reagan chose Taco Boy for her birthday dinner
 fun family night!
Once we got home, Reagan opened a few more gifts.  A gift card to Barnes and Noble from Ms Connie.
a special coloring book from mom & dad
Skate booties from mom and dad
Cooper and I went to Wal-Mart at 6:45am so he could pick out a special gift for Reagan
 Pokemon cards
He's a great brother with such a giving heart
We ate another slice of Reagan's ice cream cake, then let her watch a cartoon.  I'd say she had a wonderful birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, REAGAN!
You're our best girl ever!
We love you with all our hearts!

We celebrated National Pancake Day at IHOP tonight.  We each enjoyed a short stack of pancakes!  The kids thought it was so much fun to have pancakes for dinner.  Such a fun treat for them!
ready to eat!
the damage has been done (Cooper actually finished off his plate after this picture was taken!)

Happy Father's Day 2014

Reagan planned a special Father's Day breakfast for Greg this year.  She wanted to surprise him with cinnamon pancakes!  She wanted everyone to hide and yell "Surprise" when he came downstairs, but I reminded her he knew it was Father's Day!!
putting all the ingredients for the pancakes
Cooper helped too!

she even poured them out on the griddle by herself
Cooper read his card to Greg
sweet family - notice the rabbit ears over Greg's head!
Reagan read her card to Greg too
next came the gifts~a jar full of kisses
not sure what they're laughing at, but they had a great time!
Ready for breakfast - cinnamon pancakes with whipped cream and sprinkles
After breakfast, we headed to church.  Again, the kids like to get there a few minutes early so they can have the playground all to themselves!
Back home for a son/father/daughter picture

Playland

Greg and Reagan had their last All-Pro Dad meeting of the school year this morning, so Cooper and I took the opportunity to have another mom/son breakfast date!  We had pancakes at Old McDonald's...again
yummy!
this McDonald's has just been demolished and rebuilt with a brand new playland.  It's Cooper's favorite!
 one more slide before school!
What a great way to start the weekend!
