Family and Friends

Reagan and I were invited (or maybe I invited us..details, details) to start the wedding planning process with Megan.  We met with a caterer and then went dress shopping!!!  We had so much fun.  Reagan thought Megan looked like a princess!
going over the details of the wedding with the caterer
waiting for the bride-to-be to show us the first dress
 beautiful, but not the ONE
Megan will make any dress look gorgeous
Reagan was asked to be a flower girl in the wedding and wanted to pick out some jewels to wear!
this was my favorite of the day, but still not THE DRESS
since Megan didn't find the perfect dress today, we get to do this all over again another weekend!!!
After we finished up the bridal business for the day, Reagan and I stopped by Greg's best friend Scott's house to say hello.  We called Greg and Cooper to come down (only an hour drive now) and we went out to dinner.  Reagan and Cooper made fast friends with Mr Scott!!
he let them roast marshmallows in his fireplace!
 Eating their snack
Cooper wanted to spend the night with Scott, but forgot his clean underwear...maybe next time!
Reagan pretended to be a little shy around him, but Mr Scott has 3 of Reagan's favorite things ~ a pool, a house at the beach and he owns a Menchie's!!  Reagan was in heaven!!!

1st Snow Fall 2013

It was an early release day from school because of inclement weather.  Once the snow began to accumulate in the yard, the kids and I went outside to play.  It was cold and windy, but we had a lot of fun!
He couldn't believe it was snowing

the wind was blowing the snow right into our eyes and Cooper needed snow goggles

On Thin Ice

Reagan and I attended the Girl Scout Ice Skating Outing this afternoon.  The rink was reserved for Girl Scouts and their families, but Cooper & Greg thought it would be more fun to stay home and watch football!  This was both Reagan and my first time to ice skate ~ Reagan only fell twice. I think we did pretty good and Reagan said she would like to go back again.

she looks a little pained, but I promise she was having fun!  She was terrified of falling for the first little bit!
they held a little class for first time skaters ~ here they're learning to fall properly
Mom, are you coming?

she finally let go of the wall!
 finally, a smile
 We had a great time!

Cookie Rally

This afternoon, the Girl Scouts held a Cookie Rally to kick of the cookie selling season!  The girls learned about setting goals and working together.  They sang songs, did crafts, earned a patch and most importantly got to taste the cookies!!!
