Cheese! Cows! Wow!

Cooper's class went to Sweetwater Valley Farms today.  They got to see cows - from newly born to the pregnant mamas.  We also watched the cows get fed and milked, then watch & learn how cheese is made, and we also got to sample several flavors of the cheese.  This farm ships all of it's excess milk to Mayfield Dairy for their milk and ice cream.

After the field trip, Cooper and I ran errands.  He asked to sit in the buggy ~ I told him he was too big, but he insisted!  This lasted about 2 minutes, then he agreed with me!

Saturday Outing

We spent our Saturday running errands.  One of our stops was at Barnes and Noble to get Reagan her free birthday cookie for being part of the Kids' Club.
She chose a s'mores cookie
Reagan was super sweet and shared half of her cookie with Cooper
after most of our errands were done, we stopped for dinner at Applebee's

Splotchy

Cooper woke up this morning with a rash covering most of his body.  After a trip to the doctor's office, Cooper was on the road to recovery.  The doctor said that his rash was an allergic reaction to something, but since we hadn't changed laundry detergent or he hadn't eaten something strange, it's really hard to determine what it is.  Hopefully, it will clear up within a day or so.
Cooper was pitiful ~ he was crying and asked if he was going to look this way forever.
Since it was lunch time when he got back to school, I stayed and ate with him.

Double Digits - Happy 10th Birthday, Reagan!

At 12:38am early this morning, Reagan turned 10 years old!!!  She could not be more excited to be in double digits!
As is tradition, birthday pancakes!
Cooper placed all the candles (he was a little excited about Reagan's birthday too!)
 She's TEN!
Sweet birthday girl
this brother and sister love to celebrate!
Reagan took Dunkin' Doughnuts in for her class this morning, then I took Reagan Sonic for her lunch.  Her order:  a corn dog, tater tots and a fruit punch to drink
After school, Reagan had a Girl Scout meeting.  She took trail mix as a snack for everyone there!
They learned about choosing your words carefully, because once they're said, you can't take them back.  Just like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube.
Reagan chose Taco Boy for her birthday dinner
 fun family night!
Once we got home, Reagan opened a few more gifts.  A gift card to Barnes and Noble from Ms Connie.
a special coloring book from mom & dad
Skate booties from mom and dad
Cooper and I went to Wal-Mart at 6:45am so he could pick out a special gift for Reagan
 Pokemon cards
He's a great brother with such a giving heart
We ate another slice of Reagan's ice cream cake, then let her watch a cartoon.  I'd say she had a wonderful birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, REAGAN!
You're our best girl ever!
We love you with all our hearts!
