Peach Smoothies

We love to visit the "peach man" every week and get fresh fruit.  Tonight, the kids decided they would like to make peach smoothies.

when did they get so big?
pouring in the milk
then the honey
next, the yogart
and the best part is the peaches
mixing it up
looks delicious
cheers!

Cooper liked it so well, it wanted two cups

Saturday Chefs

Greg and I awoke this morning to sounds of cooking in the bonus room.  Reagan and Cooper had prepared a "feast" for us.  They even had on their aprons and hats ~ so cute!

So sweet!
they were having such a great time
 serving the fruit salad
 they had prepared a buffet
 getting the drinks
Couldn't you just eat them up?

Sunday Afternoon

Here are a few moments captured during our day.

rainbow Popsicles after lunch
"yummy in my tummy!"

she thought it was so funny that her tongue was turning colors
While Cooper was napping, Reagan decided she wanted to paint
concentration on her face

the finished products ~ a dinosaur and a flower pot
Next, we made cinnamon muffins to pack in Reagan's lunch this week
quality control
Cooper talked on the phone while he waited for the muffins to bake
"the muffins are ready!"

As a final activity for the day, the kids drew and colored pictures
they also practiced sharing...they may need a little more practice on that!

Pink Pancakes

Once again, Reagan was in a baking mood. Today, she made us all pink pancakes for breakfast.

Measuring out the Bisquick
Next is the milk
Picking out just the right color...pink, of course
Making sure it is mixed just right
Now the waiting begins
Delicious!!

The Baker is Back

Reagan had taken a little sabbatical from baking, but today she was back in full force making pink biscuits for us all to enjoy at breakfast.

Measuring the Bisquick
Adding the milk Stirring in the pink food coloring
The finished product (daddy said he couldn't eat pink biscuits, so Reagan had to make him some plain ones)

Play Time

Sunday afternoon, we all got outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather of the weekend (because next week, they're calling for temps about 25 degrees cooler).

taking a stroll in the grass
Having a snack outside Daddy and his shadow
Daddy and his little helper
He can rake with one hand and use a shovel with the other!!
Watching the neighbor's dog
Reagan had enough of the outdoors and wanted to come help me cook spaghetti
After dinner we went on a wagon walk around the neighborhood. (not the most flattering picture of me, but I wanted to prove that the kids do have a mom!)
