Dyeing Easter Eggs

Dyeing Easter eggs is serious business in our house, just look at the expressions on the kids' faces!

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday ~ a great church service, time spent with friends and an afternoon with just our family.

pictures before church
 sweet Reagan
 precious Cooper
 when will they stop growing?
 mom & her babies
 dad & his loves
a family portrait (our 1st time to use the timer on this camera, we may be doing more of this in the future!!)
Lunch at Wild Wok (because it just isn't Easter unless you have Chinese food!) with our Bible Study Group
we took up the entire patio
after lunch we went to Rita's for dessert.
 the gang's all here
 he makes me smile!
 she melts my heart
 baskets appeared after nap time
one last picture before she checks out her goodies
 Cooper wasn't quite awake yet
 oooh, look!
we had an egg hunt (or six) in the backyard
 the baskets are full

Easter Preparations

We spent our Saturday as a family with nothing on the calendar and no "to do" list.

we started the day at the mall and let the kids play on the coin operated toys (although I had no coins, they still had fun playing)
 3-2-1, BLAST OFF
they must have played "ice cream delivery" for 30 or so minutes
and, for the shocker of the day, they got their picture made with the Easter Bunny.  No sitting on its lap, but this is the first picture with a holiday character since Cooper was 11 months old!
they were rewarded with bunny ears
they wore them throughout the mall and hopped EVERYWHERE!
after lunch at Chick Fil A, they rode the carousel

once we were home, Cooper and daddy practiced T ball
after dinner, we made Resurrection Rolls ~ while they baked, Greg read the story of Jesus' death and Resurrection
 the tomb is empty!
 He is risen!
