Quirky Cooper

Here are just a few pictures that capture the essence of Cooper. He is so much fun and full of energy that Greg and I can hardly keep up! Watch him in action...

He finished his dinner, but was still hungry
Reagan had some food left that he thought he might could get away from herYes, he really is lifting 2 gallons of water. He actually carried them for a few steps before putting them down.
I think he has the best smile ever ~ even with a scratch under his nose from falling on the playground at school!
He has a fascination with other people's shoes ~ he loves to wear them, carry them, and play with them
He can walk pretty good in high heels!
He's making daddy proud!

SpiderBoy

You can't leave him alone ~ not even for one minute. I was talking on the phone today and walked in the living room to find this...

Where did he learn to climb on the outside of the stairs?
Yes, he did stop and say "cheese"
Hmmm, wonder what he'll be for Halloween?
Oh wait, he can go higher
And here's a picture of Reagan because she's so cute!

Our New Best Friend

Cooper loves, loves, loves to open and close the refrigerator door. He opens the door and cleans out the refrigerator and shuts the door. Then, he opens the door and puts everything back in. He repeats this "fun" many, many times a day. We had put a child proof lock on the door from Babies R Us ~ but it was no match for Cooper. He broke it in less than 3 days. So now, we have a bungee cord wrapped around the door handles. Let's see how long it is before he figures this out!

Good News, Bad News

Let's start with the bad. Cooper had an "incident" at school today ~ the report reads, "Incident took place at lunch time. Cooper was trying to take food from his friend's plate, his friend got upset and grabbed his face."

Here's the evidence
For the good news. When I picked Reagan up from school today, her teacher told me that Reagan was the only student to receive an ice cream sandwich for snack today because she was the only one sitting quietly and listening to Ms. Gomery. That's my girl, I'm so proud of her! Now if only I could get her to sit quietly and listen at home!

Who got an ice cream sandwich today? I did!!

Snug As A Bug...

...In a rug ~ literally!
Cute Reagan story ~ we were talking about who made her rocking chair, and I told her papaw Carl did. Reagan said, "I have 3 papaws ~ Gigi's papaw, Mamaw's papaw and my papaw Carl. Do I have 3 papaws because I'm 3 years old?"

What's for Dinner?

A new fascination with the refrigerator has begun. Cooper loves to rearrange the Coke bottles and whatever else he can get his hands on. But, at least it keeps him occupied and happy while I'm preparing dinner every night!

He's figured out how to get the locks off the cabinets
This looks good
If only I could figure out how to get the lid off of this....
Caught me!
Hi mom!
This would look good here

Cooper vs The Penguin

This isn't the video I originally wanted to post, but I couldn't get the other video to load ~ it must have been too long. Anyway here is a video that shows how much fun Cooper is having with his new penguin. Greg expects that we'll be getting notes sent home from school if Cooper does this to his classmates!! If I can ever get the other videos to load, I will.

Mischief

Reagan and Cooper enjoy playing with each other's toys (not sharing, just wanting what the other has). Today was no different!

Cooper still playing with Reagan's "doctor scope"
Reagan taking time out to eat a snack
You can just hear her saying, "go on, touch it. Nothing will happen" Notice the hands on her hips
Are we not supposed to touch the tree?

Ah-Choo

Cooper has learned a new trick - he loves to act like he's sneezing. He'll walk around "sneezing" and almost fall over from laughing so hard at himself. These aren't the best videos of him showing off his new trick, but you can get the idea!

Tool Kit

Cooper loves, loves, loves to carry things around. Namely his sister's pink doctor kit. For his birthday, Ms Beth and Anah & Sera got him his own Home Depot tool kit so he could carry something a little more manly around ~ and there would be less fighting. Cooper still likes to carry around the doctor kit, but is slowly warming to his tool kit.

So glad Reagan's taking a nap so I don't have to fight for the doctor case
Well, if the stethoscope doesn't work, the drill should!
Hi-ho, Hi-ho, it's off to work I go
Is Reagan coming?
Good, I can play with her doctor kit all by myself!

Tuesday Fun

Just a few pictures of our evening together

Cooper dusting the floor with his belly
Running after mommy and her camera
Cooper's mad because he can't have his way
I'm pretty sure she was telling on Cooper for something
Working an Elmo puzzle
She's getting very good at working puzzles all by herself

The Trouble with Boys Is...

...they are ALWAYS into something. You can't turn your back for a minute because you never know what might happen.

First, he broke one of the slats in the blinds
Then he knocked over a floor lamp, smashing it to pieces and scratching the floor
What a mess to clean up!

But seriously, could you get mad at this face? After a brief time out (for safety purposes only while I cleaned up) Cooper was back to his fun-bull dozing ways in no time!
