Sleepover Sunday

There are no pictures today, because neither of the kids are home.  They are both at sleepovers. 

Reagan is at her VERY first sleepover with a friend tonight.  They have big things planned - going to a festival downtown, eating truck food, playing and watching fireworks.

Cooper is spending the night with Gigi & Bubba.  I'm sure they have big things planned to ~ a boat ride, riding the 4 wheeler, playing and ice cream!!

So, it's just Greg and I at home tonight.  What fun things do we have in store?  Cleaning out and organizing the garage, hanging pictures, etc, etc, etc!!

Gobble, Gobble

We had our annual "Day After Thanksgiving" meal with our families.  We dined on the traditional meal of steak, shrimp, grilled corn and baked potatoes.  Then we had our choice of desserts ~ rum cake, white chocolate chip cranberry cookies or Ginger's apple pie & ice cream.  Most of us chose a little slice of each!

 Cooper got to have a slumber party with the girls!  He slept on the floor in Reagan's room and loved every minute of it!

We started the weekend off with one of the Sandidge family's favorite treats...homemade ice cream!

Reagan can't believe this may be the last time she gets homemade ice cream this year!

We had a couple of special visitors tonight ~ Gigi and Cindy stopped by on their way to the beach! Sure wish we could have gone with them! Maybe next time.

Why is Reagan so excited about her sleeping bag backpack? Because we bought a tent today and she's finally going to get to use her sleeping back she got from Kim and Byrd!

Unfortunately, Cooper couldn't make it until the sun went down ~ he needed to go to bed. That meant that I couldn't sleep outside either...someone had to sacrifice and stay indoors (in a nice comfortable bed) to make sure Cooper didn't wake up ~ not that I was worried about him waking up, but...

A BAM Good Ending

For the end of 2009, Greg and I celebrated with our BAMily. We had a TN Football Party / New Year's Eve Party / Slumber Party / Big BAM Breakfast Party. Unfortunately, our team lost the football game (did they even show up in the 2nd half?), but we've won in the friend department! Thanks to Ms Kim for spending the night at our house, feeding Reagan & Cooper breakfast and taking great care of them so Greg and I could act like youngsters again.
