ZOOtastic ~ Part 1

We woke up bright and early at 7am this morning to get dressed, have breakfast and go to the ZOO! 

ready to start our tour

 We saw LIONS,

 TIGERS,

 and BEARS (oh my!)

 a siamong monkey that looked like he was pouting because he was in time-out!

 Next, we went to the bird exhibit.  We bought each of the kids a cup of nectar to feed them~and the birds were not shy about eating!

 the birds decided they liked me!

Field Trip

Today was Reagan's 1st field trip in the Bumble Bee Class. Her class went to Buffalo Beal's to see all of the animals. This is a small percentage of the pictures I took!!

Just got out of the cars, and the kids couldn't wait

Reagan had bread to feed to some of the animals
She is her mother's daughter, she didn't want the animals to lick her!

Next, they were given bags of feed for the animals

Again, not wanting the animals to touch her, she'd throw the feed up high and let the animals eat it off the ground!

Reagan got brave and petted the kangaroo. They weren't allowed to feed him because he takes special food

I can't believe my eyes...She's actually feeding the giraffe a carrot!!

Her homework this week was to draw a picture of the animal she most wanted to see at Buffalo Beal's...Reagan drew a giraffe

This baby goat wasn't fenced in and Reagan followed him around feeding and petting him

The chimpanzee was easily entertained by the kids singing
