Girl Scout Cookie Time

Reagan worked her first booth of the cookie season this afternoon.  She has done a great job selling cookies!

After the cookie booth, Greg had a very special evening planned for the two of them.  Chick-Fil-A was having their annual daddy/daughter date night, so Greg made reservations for him and Reagan.  He said they had the tables nicely decorated and had waitresses to come and take their orders.  They had a great time, even if I didn't get to take pictures of them!  They did have their photo made, but we wont have it for a couple of weeks!

While Greg and Reagan were out to dinner, Cooper and I had our own date.  He chose IHOP!
we had lots of fun!!!

Ice Princess

The Girl Scouts held their annual ice skating outing today at a local ice rink.  You may remember Reagan and I skated for the first time ever last year.  We did much better this year, but we still need lots of practice!

hopefully, it won't be another year before we do this again!  Reagan says she wants to take lessons so she can go to the Olympics like Dorothy Hamill!

Girl Scout Cookie Rally

This afternoon, our local Girl Scout Council held a rally to kick off cookie selling season. We also attended this event last year.  Many improvements were made to the rally that got the girls more involved.
Who wouldn't want to buy cookies from this sweet face?
there was an obstacle course the girls had to complete while carrying a cookie on a spatula
 a balloon toss race
 partnering balloon waddle
 crafts were Reagan's favorite
the girls role-played cookie booth sales
 Reagan was the cashier
they got to taste the cookies too
So, who would like to buy some Girl Scout Cookies?

Litter Pick Up

This afternoon, Reagan's Girl Scout troop headed to a local park to pick up trash.  The girls have been learning all about water ~ how to conserve it, keeping it clean, etc.  They picked up several bags of trash and learned the lesson that they should always use a trash can!

Night at the Titanic

Reagan and I spent the night on the Titanic tonight with a hundred or so other Girl Scouts and their moms.  We were able to tour the museum, watch a movie and "sleep" on the ship.  We got our boarding passes for the ship at 9pm.  The boarding passes were real-life biographies of people who were actually on board the Titanic in 1912.  By the time the tour was over, we had learned about life on the ship for all classes of people and whether or not our person had survived.  Thankfully, both Reagan and my person survived.

We all had so much fun, even if we only got 3 hours of so-called sleep!

Busy Day

Today was a busy day for our family.  Cooper had his second half-day of Kindergarten.  Reagan's Brownie troop started up their meetings for the year, our church had a back to school party for the kids and Reagan led worship with her Kid Rave crew, AND I had to go to parent night at Cooper's school.
