Salon de Sandidge

We've started giving Greg and Cooper haircuts at home now.  They both use a #3 guard on clippers ~ how hard can it be???

A Hairy Situation

It's no secret that Reagan loves crafts. She has recently began using scissors to cut out her creations. Tonight, she used the scissors to craft Cooper a new design in his hair.

Can you see the gashes?
Bless his heart!
glad we already had the Christmas card photos taken!
She also discovered a new way to wear headbands!

Haircuts

We took the kids to get their haircut this weekend ~ this is the only time I've ever been able to get a picture of Cooper getting his haircut. He's doing better, but still would rather be shaggy!

After playing all day Saturday, we enjoyed a meal at home!

Another Haircut

Reagan has asked to get her haircut for the last month, so today we actually took the time to do it! When we got to Fantastic Sam's, she asked for her stylist by name and sat perfectly still while she had 4 1/2 inches cut from her hair. Reagan even brought her own tin container to put her lollipops in after she was finished. Her hair now brushes the tops of her shoulders ~ a nice length for summer.

Beauty Shop

I got my haircut yesterday, but apparently Reagan thought I needed a little more styling. Here she is playing beauty shop ~ although I think I'm her only client!!

She's the cutest stylist ever!

Hair Cut Time Again

Reagan was in desperate need of a haircut, so today was the day! We cut about 5 inches off of her hair. Robin, the stylist, didn't want to be the one to cut that much hair off, but she finally agreed.

Before the 1st cut
This is a preview of things to come~in the future I'm sure she'll add highlights, and a pedicure
All done
What a head of hair for a 3 year old ~ so healthy and thick
I think she's happy with it!
the back side
Still long enough for a ponytail, but short enough to manage
Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Anniversary to my mom and dad ~ 39 years today. Maybe they'll make it!!!

Hair Cut

Not only did Cooper get his haircut on Saturday, but I did too. I needed a little pick me up and thought short hair may do the trick!

Haircut

Cooper went for his 2nd (professional) haircut today. Things started out really well ~ all smiles and giggles. He even touched the clippers with his hands...but when the clippers touched his head, let's just say we put the camera down!!

All ready to go
The very first touch is all I was able to capture on film!!

Big Boy Hair

Finally! We took Cooper to get his hair cut Wednesday afternoon. Robin did a great job with a squirmy 11 month, 26 day old boy! You wouldn't believe how much hair he had cut off ~ amazing! He has an official style to his hair now!

Cooper's Cut

Cooper got his 1st haircut last night. His bangs had been in his eyes for a couple of weeks, but we haven't had a chance to take him anywhere to get them cut. So last night, I got brave and did it myself.

The before (and something to keep him occupied)
Before
And after
I didn't try to cut the sides over his ears, I'll leave that to a professional. It was hard enough cutting what little I did with a wiggle worm moving all around
Greg says I should have left the whole cut to a professional... ...because he looks like Jim Carrey from the movie Dumb and Dumber
What do you expect from a free haircut from an untrained novice? I think I did pretty good considering...

A Cut Above

Reagan got her first real haircut on Saturday. She had her hair trimmed once before when she was 18 months old, but this was a big girl hair cut.

Reagan's hair before ~ and of course she has her purse with her! She got to put on a cape. She has a very serious look on her face, she wasn't sure if she wanted to get her hair cut or not.
Getting ready for the big cut! Reagan is so brave
Here's the final look. Doesn't it look so healthy and thick?
Reagan's trying to figure out where all her hair went.
Reagan was such a big girl getting her hair cut. I was so proud to be her mommy. In total, she had about 7 1/2 inches cut off her hair. She really looks like a big girl now ~ my baby is growing up!
