Big Sister Reagan

Reagan trying to comfort Cooper in the absence of daddy. She talks to him in her sweetest big sister voice!

No reason for this picture other than it is a picture of the cutest girl in the world who misses her daddy terribly!

We Miss You Daddy

Reagan and Cooper are missing their daddy so much! They made a little video for him. Reagan told me to tell Greg to "come home. He lives in Hickory, North Caroline ~ not in Tennessee!"

In case you have a hard time understanding Reagan, she's saying, "Get well Gigi"

Here's a picture just so daddy doesn't forget what sweet smiles his kids have!

Our sweet friend, Ms Shawn came over with Pizza and spent a couple of hours with us. I don't know who enjoyed it more~me, Reagan or Cooper.

How Sweet Is This?

My two babies napping (ok, so only Reagan is really napping). As it always happens in our house, when it is time for one to go take a nap, it's time for the other to get up. Greg and I have (almost) come to grips with the fact that our next nap will be in 10 years or so!!

ZZZZ

I know the video is dark (you can see it on my camera), but just close your eyes and listen to the sweet sounds of Cooper sleeping ~ wishing you could sleep this good too!

Cool Cooper

Doesn't he look so cute in these sunglasses? We had to hurry and take a picture of him with them on before Reagan caught us ~ otherwise, there would be no picture of Cooper in her glasses.
Cooper and Daddy ~ like father, like son!

Weekend Visitors

Gigi and Papaw Sandidge came over this weekend to visit. I know Reagan and Cooper had a great time. Reagan had a new playmate and Cooper got spoiled ROTTEN (his bottom didn't hit the floor all weekend!). I didn't take too many pictures (hard to believe, I know) but we had a great weekend ~ even with sick kids!

A Cut Above

Reagan got her first real haircut on Saturday. She had her hair trimmed once before when she was 18 months old, but this was a big girl hair cut.

Reagan's hair before ~ and of course she has her purse with her! She got to put on a cape. She has a very serious look on her face, she wasn't sure if she wanted to get her hair cut or not.
Getting ready for the big cut! Reagan is so brave
Here's the final look. Doesn't it look so healthy and thick?
Reagan's trying to figure out where all her hair went.
Reagan was such a big girl getting her hair cut. I was so proud to be her mommy. In total, she had about 7 1/2 inches cut off her hair. She really looks like a big girl now ~ my baby is growing up!

Big Spikey

After bathtime, we decided to give Cooper a new "do". His hair is so fluffy and it usually spikes up by itself, but this time we gave it a little extra help!

Rrroooaaarrr

Another video of Reagan entertaining Cooper. It's hard to hear his laughter on this video, but he cracks up at her everytime she gets around him!!

Sick Day

Wednesday, a classmate of Reagan's got sent home from school with strep throat. Last night Reagan was running a little bit of a fever and she has been coughing for the past couple of days, so we gave her some cough syrup from the doctor's office. It didn't turn out so well!! As you can see from the pictures, Reagan is allergic to the active ingredient in most cough syrups.

You know Reagan is sick when she would rather take a nap than eat supper or a snack. She stayed on the couch most of the evening and, true to her high maintenance self, milked it for all it was worth. And of course, Greg and I gave in to whatever she wanted!!
The usually happy bath taking Reagan wasn't even having fun in the water!!
We took her to the doctor this morning and he thinks she just has a virus. They did do a strep test to rule that out. Reagan was very brave and let them swab the back of her throat.

Green Beans

We tried Cooper on green beans this week because he hasn't been wanting to eat any of his rice cereal. The first couple of bites went pretty well - he's smiling as usual.
This is the face after five or so bites. He's not that into it and kept pushing the spoon away. We'll try again later!

So Much Drama

As I've said before, Cooper is becoming the master of the pucker face. Greg can make silly noises and Cooper will pucker up...never crying, just the saddest little face you'll ever see.
