My Daddy Rocks

Reagan's shirt says it all ~ My Daddy Rocks. She insisted on wearing this shirt today (even though she's worn purple to school for the last 2 days. And those of you who know my clothes calendar...let's just say, I was a little stressed about purple for a 3rd day this week!) Anyway, who can tell a girl she can't wear a shirt about her daddy? Certainly not me!

She has the best imagination ~ she loves to take her dolls to the beach (the bathroom)

Now, we're at the bakery getting some candy and some beef (who knew you could get candy and beef at a bakery?)
Back to the beach for some swimming. Yes, I had to get in the floor and swim too! The things we do for love!

Baby Food

We're still trying to find the baby food that Cooper will eat ~ we've tried rice cereal, green beans and now sweet potatoes. Still no luck! First bite ok, by the 2nd bite he's pursing his lips together and smacking the spoon out of my hands. Hmmm
1st bite of sweet potatoes ~ at least I got them in his mouth!

Next bite of sweet potatoes ~ he spit them out. Oh well!
Eureka!!! Applesauce!!! I know it's hard to see the evidence on his lips and chin, but just look at the smile on his face after tasting applesauce. Should've known...a boy after my own heart, he just needed something sweet!
He liked them so much, he started grabbing the spoon to get it in his mouth quicker!
Reagan even got in on the action ~ she was so proud of Cooper for eating baby food that she gave him a party hat (Reagan does love a party...any reason to party!)

Big Sister Reagan

We Miss You Daddy

Reagan and Cooper are missing their daddy so much! They made a little video for him. Reagan told me to tell Greg to "come home. He lives in Hickory, North Caroline ~ not in Tennessee!"

Our sweet friend, Ms Shawn came over with Pizza and spent a couple of hours with us. I don't know who enjoyed it more~me, Reagan or Cooper.

How Sweet Is This?

My two babies napping (ok, so only Reagan is really napping). As it always happens in our house, when it is time for one to go take a nap, it's time for the other to get up. Greg and I have (almost) come to grips with the fact that our next nap will be in 10 years or so!!

Cool Cooper

Doesn't he look so cute in these sunglasses? We had to hurry and take a picture of him with them on before Reagan caught us ~ otherwise, there would be no picture of Cooper in her glasses.

Weekend Visitors

Gigi and Papaw Sandidge came over this weekend to visit. I know Reagan and Cooper had a great time. Reagan had a new playmate and Cooper got spoiled ROTTEN (his bottom didn't hit the floor all weekend!). I didn't take too many pictures (hard to believe, I know) but we had a great weekend ~ even with sick kids!

A Cut Above

Reagan got her first real haircut on Saturday. She had her hair trimmed once before when she was 18 months old, but this was a big girl hair cut.

Reagan's hair before ~ and of course she has her purse with her! She got to put on a cape. She has a very serious look on her face, she wasn't sure if she wanted to get her hair cut or not.

Reagan was such a big girl getting her hair cut. I was so proud to be her mommy. In total, she had about 7 1/2 inches cut off her hair. She really looks like a big girl now ~ my baby is growing up!

Big Spikey

After bathtime, we decided to give Cooper a new "do". His hair is so fluffy and it usually spikes up by itself, but this time we gave it a little extra help!
