8 Years Ago Today...

...I began my career with AstraZeneca. I started out in the Regional Office as an administrative assistant, and after 2 years became a pharmaceutical sales specialist in the Nashville East territory. After 2 1/2 years there, we relocated to Hickory and I now promote Crestor and Nexium in that area.

Thanks Uncle Astra for keeping me around ~ it's been a great 8 years!!

Reagan's Day

Greg and I decided to take the day off from work today to give Reagan a day devoted just to her. Since we didn't have an official vacation this year, we took Reagan to Lake James for the day. She loved the beach and most importantly loved having mom and dad all to herself (although she did say we needed to go get Cooper)

She had the beach all to herself
Playing with mommy in the water
Reagan had a great time playing ball with mommy & daddy
Swimming with the fish ~ she later said this was her favorite part of the day

Give Me Food

This is a cute video of Cooper eating his evening snack. Evidently I'm not giving him his snack fast enough and he lets me know about it!

No Obvious Problems

Reagan had her 1st dental screening today, thanks to the school. This wasn't a complete cleaning/check-up, but was intended to get the kids comfortable with the dentist. The dental assistant checked in her mouth with a flashlight, reviewed good brushing techniques, and most importantly gave her a sticker, a toothbrush and a toothbrush cover for being a good girl. The report said she had "no obvious problems, and it is recommended all children see the dentist every 6 months for good oral hygiene". I guess I need to schedule our next doctor's appointment!

Big Boy Bath

Cooper has graduated to taking a bath in the big tub ~ the baby tub is no more. Tonight was his 1st experience in the tub, and he had mixed feelings about it.

At first, he really seemed to like it Reagan wasn't too sure about sharing her space
Eventually, they both had a good time togetherEven sharing a few toys All in all, I'd say Cooper enjoyed his 1st bath in the big tub. My baby's growing up too fast!

Merry Go Round

After the playground, we ate lunch and then rode the Merry Go Round.

Cooper has a great time no matter where he is!
Don't go by the look on her face in this picture, she had a great time. She even rode twice
WheeCooper enjoying his freedom from the stroller

Mall Playground

We used the day off on Labor Day to run a few errands and let Reagan play at the playground inside the mall. Cooper also got to play there for his very 1st time. Mom had to run a little interference for both of them with the bigger kids, but they both had a great time.

Ready to play
Just checking things out
The prettiest girl in the play area This is fun!Sliding down the ramp Did you see that? I'm coming to get you!

Time Flies

Cooper is too big (tall) for his infant carrier, so we moved him to a big boy car seat. Actually, he took Reagan's car seat and she got a new one. You'd think she'd be happy about that, but she's not. She doesn't want him to have anything that belongs to her. Since he's moved up car seats, that means we no longer can use his snap on stroller, so we also had to get a new umbrella stroller. Reagan decided that she would take a pink stroller and give Cooper the blue one that she'd been using.

Such a big boy in his car seat

Sunday Pictures

Wanted to get a couple of pictures before church on Sunday, but Reagan wasn't having any of it. She kept saying, "leave me alone with that camera." One day she'll look back and appreciate all of the pictures, I'm almost sure of it!

She wouldn't look at the camera. This is the best picture I could get of her!
Cooper was a little more cooperative

Fun in the Sun

We decided it was time to bring out the pool again at our house.

Reagan said she was a fireman with the hose
She decided it would be easier to get in the pool and fill it up at the same time Cooper enjoyed swimming with Reagan The water was a little cool Mommy had to get in the pool to keep Cooper happy Day 2 of the pool, Reagan had to get the bugs out with her net Cooper decided to go in his swim diaper today Cutting teeth on a boat Bathing Beauty

Slide Time

Reagan has been on a "sliding kick" this week. Here are a couple of pictures showing how much fun she's been having.
