A Perfect Day...

...to fly a kite. Reagan's had this kite for about 6 months, but there has never been enough wind to keep it airborne until today. She had a great time ~ and even inspired some of the older neighborhood kids to get their kites out too!

His Mother's Son

Cooper learned how to clap his hands this week and how to make noises with his fist and his mouth. He doesn't do either one very long because he laughs at himself ~ Like Mother, Like Son!

Reagan finally agreed to let me take some pictures of her smiling (even though she does have a mouth full of food!). She has such a beautiful smile - I just couldn't take enough pictures!

Greg is in Chicago for the next few days, so when he called tonight Reagan told him he needed to leave Cago and come home. It was so sweet!

Make it Eight

Cooper's 8th tooth broke through on Saturday. He puts a big bite mark on you now when he chomps down!

Containing Cooper

We don't know if it can be done! We've had to block off every doorway and opening. He's not happy about it and I'm sure it won't be long before he figures out how to get over this gate.

Weekend Visit from Mamaw & Papaw

Mamaw and Papaw came up for my birthday weekend and Reagan and Cooper loved the extra attention. They had a great time playing together.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my 35th, yes 35th birthday. We celebrated all weekend beginning with a surprise red velvet cake (my favorite) from Greg on Friday. Mom and dad came up for my birthday weekend too!

My 1st birthday cake in 12 years ~ and I've enjoyed EACH AND EVERY calorie in it!

Everyone enjoying the cake Reagan usually only eats the icing, but red velvet must be her favorite cake too. She ate an entire piece. Cooper enjoyed juice. 2 months buddy, 2 more months. On Sunday (my actual birthday), we ate at Olive Garden after church Reagan kept saying, "this is so much fun, I'm having so much fun!" We have to get her out more often! Cooper had his 1st taste of fettuccine alfredo He even licked the plate!

So Excited

Cooper gets so excited when Greg comes home from work every day. Watch his little legs just kick when he realizes Greg is home!

Big Trouble

Cooper is in to EVERYTHING these days. If it is within reach, he's going to get a hold of it and try to figure out how it works.

Caught

Caught in the act!! Cooper's nickname is Dozer, as in Bulldozer. It doesn't matter what is in his way, he'll go over it to get what he wants! Here are a few pictures of him being all boy.

He loves the dishwasher and any chance he gets, he tries to climb in it. Usually I'm quicker than he is, but not today!

How could you get mad at that sweet face?He's discovered the cabinet with all the Tupperware in it. One of his new favorite places to play. Another favorite place to play...the refrigerator. Greg and I are really in for it when he starts walking!
