Art Show 2009

Tonight Reagan and Cooper's school held an art show to showcase the artistic talents of all the students. The kids and their teachers have worked so hard and on so many projects to make this an enjoyable evening for the students and their parents. I can't say how thankful I am that they are in a school where they are not only taught, but they are loved and cared about as well. You can tell how much the teachers love each child in the way they talk to them, their willingness to give up their evenings so the parents can look at all the artwork, and by making each child feel special as if they were the only one with an art project in the room. Thank you teachers!

Reagan couldn't wait to show us her art

This is Ms Becky, but the kids call her Nanny. Reagan loves for Nanny to hold her in the mornings and Nanny is always more than willing to do so. Nanny also sings and reads Bible stories to the kids for which I am very grateful

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

We had a great Sunday ~ we went to church (nice to be back after a weekend of sickness last weekend), ate lunch, played, napped, baked, and cooked. Reagan even called one of my coworkers, Crystal, to wish her a happy birthday!

Reagan wanted to show off her new ponytail from mamaw and papaw
Cooper looks just like his daddy in this button down shirt
Relaxing and watching cartoons
Cooper needs papaw Carl to make him a rocking chair of his own (hint, hint!)
Big laughs
Princess for a day (a lifetime really, but we'll go one day at a time!)

Hair Cut Time Again

Reagan was in desperate need of a haircut, so today was the day! We cut about 5 inches off of her hair. Robin, the stylist, didn't want to be the one to cut that much hair off, but she finally agreed.

Before the 1st cut
This is a preview of things to come~in the future I'm sure she'll add highlights, and a pedicure
All done
What a head of hair for a 3 year old ~ so healthy and thick
I think she's happy with it!
the back side
Still long enough for a ponytail, but short enough to manage
Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Anniversary to my mom and dad ~ 39 years today. Maybe they'll make it!!!

Valentine's Date

Today was a real treat ~ not only is it Valentine's Day, but it is also daddy/daughter date day. And, Cooper and I got to come along...so we made it a family date day!

A little rainy...but Reagan was wearing her new rain boots and carrying her new umbrella

Cooper loved his pancake. he ate an entire pancake by himself

Cute Kids

Even though they're mine, I still think they are cute!!

Valentine's Party at School

Thursday, Reagan had her Valentine's Day party at school. She was so excited to have a party and she loved picking out valentines for each of her friends.

All ready for school

This video is so sweet ~ the kids were singing a song "do you know my Valentine?" and then Reagan surprised me by what she said next (I'm glad I had the camera on!)...

All the kids made valentine hats that they wore during the party
Waiting for more treats
Making silly faces
Checking out the bags to see who their valentines are from

If you listen real close, you can hear Reagan saying, "Here you go. Happy Valentine's Day" as she hands them out.
