Easter Baskets

The Easter Bunny made a special stop by the Sandidge house this afternoon while Reagan and Cooper were napping.

Reagan's basket
Cooper's basket Wow! What all is in there?
Sidewalk chalk shaped like bunny rabbits
Of course there were Peeps in the basket
More kleenex for her purse
A pink pinwheel
Cooper looking at his basket
A pail to play in the sand when we go to the beach
Moon Sand
Animal crackers

Cooper likes to line all of his things on the couch to get a better look
How does this work?
I'll share my peeps if you'll share your ducks
No thanks, I have my own Peeps

Easter Picnic

After we got home from church Sunday morning, I asked Reagan what she wanted for lunch and she chose to have a picnic in the living room. Complete with lunchbox, a jelly sandwich without the crust, chips, cheese & crackers, a banana and grape juice with a silly straw!

Getting her place set just right
Ready to dig in!
Eating her jelly sandwich
She shared her picnic lunch with me
Drinking from her silly straw
Cooper joined the picnic late
Reagan even shared her crackers and banana with Cooper
What fun a picnic in the living room is!
Mommy with her best girl and best boy!
Yum, yum!

Easter Eggs

Time to dye Easter eggs!

Reagan patiently waiting to begin
Writing with the invisible crayon
Cooper just dives right in!
Of course he needs to get the other hand yellow too!
Having too much fun!
Making sure the entire egg (and hand) gets colored
He dropped the egg in and it made a big splash!
Reagan waiting for her egg to turn pink
Cooper loves this activity

Not too happy when you take the dye away from him

How pitiful is he?
Reagan's turn to use the blue
The (almost) finished products
Let's go take a bath!

Good Friday

Reagan and Cooper were out of school today to celebrate Good Friday, so I took off work to stay home with them. Little did we know that Greg was also taking off work today to stay home with the family ~ such a treat for Reagan and Cooper. We spent all day playing and just being happy that we were all home together. We're especially thankful for what this holiday means to us as Christians.

At 35, I've got my first stitches (I had a mole removed yesterday)
Reagan could not wait to use her new Easter cookie cutters
Washing hands at the sink ~ it must be time to bake
Look at these cute socks from Mamaw and Papaw ~ she wore them all day (and even to bed tonight)
Cooper wanted to make cookies too!
She's very serious about her baking
All ready for the oven
Cooper really wants to help (look at the grin on his face)
Cooper and daddy supervising
One last cookie to go
To pass the time while the cookies bake, they wanted Greg to "do tricks" with them
Cooper first...
Now it's Reagan's turn
yummy, yummy
Cooper approves too!

Clean Up Crew

Greg mowed the grass today because the weather men are calling for rain this afternoon and all day tomorrow. Reagan and Cooper love to watch him work.

Every time he would pass by the window they would yell, "daddy, daddy, daddy" as loud as they could
Cooper thought he would help with the leaf blower
Reagan sporting the latest trend in clean up accessories~ notice the necklace, bracelet and striped Hello Kitty socks
Anyone coming after me?
She loves to help her daddy
After all their hard work, a wagon ride was in order!
