Summer Gift Surprise

Reagan and Cooper both received surprise packages in the mail this week from mamaw & papaw. The boxes contained items that will be lots of fun at home and on our beach vacation in 3 weeks!

Cooper couldn't wait to see what was inside
Almost got it openIs it for me?
More paper before getting to the good stuff
A kite ~ just like Reagan's, but Cooper's is in the shape of a monkey
Thanks mamaw & papaw, this will be great fun at the beach
Reagan's turn to open a box
Look at this!
Silly grin, but a big thank you!

Friday Fotos

Just some random pictures of our Friday...

Reagan's new $5 dress from Target
Cooper is ready to go to school
Dinner is done ~ it's play time!
And a little bit of fighting time
It was a little windy outside today
She has keys, but they don't seem to fit the tricycle

Cooper has discovered a love for sidewalk chalk
Double-fisted with chalk ~ he did have a 3rd piece of chalk, but Reagan promptly took it back from him
Daddy won't be happy with him riding a pink tricycle
How cute is he?

This picture sums up Cooper's personality! Reagan thought the grass needed mowing
Truck time

Remember the perfect purple princess bicycle Greg and I found for Reagan last week? The one she wanted nothing to do with...well, she must have dreamed we bought it for her because when we were going outside to ride bikes and cars, she got very upset saying she needed her princess bicycle, the purple one. I reminded her she didn't like it at the store and her response was, "I like it now, can you go buy it for me please?"

Mother's Day Cards

All week, the kids have been working on Mother's Day cards at school. Reagan was so excited to give it to me today, she could hardly contain herself. When I walked into her classroom, she began yelling, "Happy Mother's Day, Happy Mother's Day"! Then she showed me the card she made and asked "Do you love it?" Of course I love it!!!

The front of Reagan's card
The inside had a packet of flower seeds, along with a picture of me drawn by ReaganShe also made me a bookmark (the blue dot made to look like a bug is her fingerprint)

I am so very lucky and proud to be the mom of these 2 precious kids ~ the Lord has blessed me beyond what I deserve.

Tooth Doctor

Today was Reagan's second visit to the dentist. While she still wouldn't let them use the electric toothbrush or scraper on her teeth, she was very brave and let them brush her teeth and paint fluoride on her pearly whites.

Letting the hygienist brush her teeth
Brusha, brusha, brusha
Waiting on the doctor to come and check her teeth
When will she get here?
Being a very big girl and letting Dr Jones look at her teeth with the mirror
When Reagan got back to school, she told every one she had been to the tooth doctor and had sparkling, clean white teeth!

Family Fun

Just some cute photos of the fun Reagan and Cooper had playing together tonight.

Rocking together
I love how Cooper is looking at her in this picture
Waiting on daddy
Still waiting
Playing peek a boo
Showing off his new hat in his new rocking chair
Reagan wanted to try out the hat and the rocking chair too

The Color Purple

All over Reagan's ottoman.

Handiwork of Cooper
Admiring his masterpiece

The Project

For her birthday, Reagan got a princess craft kit that consisted of a journal, crown, purse and wand. All week, she's been asking to work on her project and I kept telling her that we would do it on Saturday when we had more time. When Greg got home, she told him that I had said she could do her project, so ever the good daddy (and a little wrapped around her finger), he got all the "supplies" out and let her start working on it.

Making sure each sticker is in just the right place
So proud of her journal
The next morning, Reagan woke up asking to color in her notebook
Where does she get the artsy gene?
She loves to be crafty

Girls' Night Out

Who needs a Knight in Shining Armor or a Prince when you've got your own Jeep?
Let's go, Snow!

Lawn Boy

Cooper got a new bubble mower to help out with the yard work. Looks like he prefers to mow the road instead! He must have made 20 trips up and down the road.

He looks much better pushing a mower than a baby stroller
So much fun! He decided he would mow the grass after all
He did such a great job

Birthday Toys

Reagan is finally getting around to playing with all of her birthday toys. Today she brought out the birthday cake and the Barbie Jeep.

This will be perfect for the weekly birthday parties we have!

Sleeping Dress

Reagan got a couple new sleeping dresses for the summer season and she wanted to show them off! She may be a model after all!

Cute Reagan story as I was cleaning out her winter clothes from her closet:
Reagan: What are you doing with all my long sleeves?
Mom: Cleaning them out of your closet because you don't need them anymore, because it's warm outside
Reagan: I need short sleeves?
Mom: Yes you do and we're going to give all your long sleeves to little girls who don't have any. Would you like to give some of your toys away to little girls who need toys?
Reagan: No. We can give them Cooper's toys!
