How We Spent Our Saturday

Warning ~ very long post...many, many pictures!

Reagan and Greg resumed their daddy/daughter date day and went to the IHOP this morning. (Reagan had 3 pancakes, Greg 2)
Cooper stayed home with mommy and just played & played

We opened the pool today ~ Reagan had to be the one to fill it up!
Making sure the water is going where it is supposed to go
1st splash of the season
Goggles on

Reagan "swimming"
This is Reagan's attempt at going under
Having a great time
Getting a little sun while keeping the feet in the water
Cooper woke up from his nap and got in the pool with us

Looks like it was more fun to pour water out of the pool
Reagan wanted her ring to use as a float
Now he's pouring water back into the pool
Can I just go back inside where it's cool?
Watching daddy mow the grass
Daddy, do you want to cool off over here in the pool?

The boy loves his daddy ~ he waved at Greg every time he passed by for over 30minutes
Swimming's over...snack time
Family portrait before heading out on our family date. Greg and I had originally planned to have a couples date, but babysitting didn't work out, so we went on a family date. And thanks to Uncle Astra, our meal was free ~ we even have enough for dinner and dessert tomorrow too!
Next, we went to Sam's and Reagan decided it was more fun to be parked in front of a TV than to shop
Cooper thought he'd join Reagan and watch the movie
Finally we came home and Reagan decided she wanted to be a cheerleader
Yippee!
Cooper thought the road needed tending to, so he got out his broom
Rah, rah!
That's my boy!
A cheerleader and the grounds crew
He's so proud of himself

What else needs to be cleaned?

Friday Fun

We're ready for the weekend around here!!

Cooper is fascinated with all things cleaning...today it was the hand held vacuum
Ms Vickie braided Reagan's hair at school today ~ isn't it cute? I wish she'd let me braid it once in a while

Doughnuts With Dad

This morning, Reagan and Cooper's school held a "Doughnuts with Dad" breakfast in honor of Father's Day.

The kids and their dads enjoyed "Hot Now" Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and coffee or juice
Just a little reminder... We love our dads
Addie's dad getting his doughnuts!
Greg, Reagan and Cooper coming into the school
Getting their doughnuts
Greg and Reagan picking out the perfect doughnut
Ella and her dad
Cooper checking everything out
Enjoying breakfast together

Children at Play

Just a normal night at the Sandidge house.

Cooper having fun in the tub
He likes his table set just so. We don't dare move anything off or put anything on his table.
Reading time for Reagan
Playing Barbies
Dancing to the music
Reagan and Cooper dancing and singing
Yeah!!
Hmm. What should I play next?
Mirror, Mirror on the wall...
Barbie needed to look in the mirror too!

It Never Fails

I can never get a picture of the both of them smiling and looking at me at the same time.

This is close, but Reagan is sitting too far behind Cooper
One smile, one frownTwo screams (they were actually happy screams, but it doesn't make for a pretty picture!)
So, let's go solo. First, Reagan
then Cooper ~ who by the way is happiest when he's eating!

Reagan's Got Mail

Reagan received a very exciting piece of mail today. She had become part of the "stamp club" chain letter several months ago. In this, you send a packet of stickers to the person in the 1st position, move the person in position #2 to the 1st position and put yourself as the new #2; send the letter to 6 of your friends and then eagerly await your stickers. Today, she received her first pack of stickers!
Her stickers came from a little girl named Gracie
Making sure that's her name is on the envelopeOpening with care...
Pulling out the stickers
A pack of The Little Mermaid stickers
She was so happy that...
...she did a ballerina dance with her new stickers

Guitar Heros

After school today, the kids decided they wanted to play a little music.

Reagan sang several rounds of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"

Cooper couldn't figure out if it was a bass...
Or a drum!
