BAM Pool Party

Thursday evening, our Bible study group got together and had a cook-out/pool party. Reagan and I went while Greg was working late and Gigi & Bubba kept Cooper. I just didn't think I could handle both of them at a pool by myself! Reagan had a great time swimming and eating hot dogs!
Reagan's ring got a hole in it and she began to sink
So she borrowed a ring from a friend

She also tried her hips at hula hoop

Ice Cream Social

Thursday, it was back to school for Reagan and Cooper. Not such a bad day though ~ one day of school this week AND Reagan's class had an ice cream party to kick of the July 4th weekend! Cooper, he just got to play, but he had a good time at school anyway!
Reagan chose vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and M&Ms

Welcome Home

After my meeting ended on Wednesday, I headed back home to see Reagan and Cooper. Cooper was napping and Reagan was ready to go back to the Science Center (she had been there on Tuesday with Gigi & Bubba). So, off we went!!

She kept saying, "I'm so excited to be here! I'm just so excited!"

We were there in time to watch them feed the fish

I just think she's the prettiest girl in the world!

The Biltmore

Today, as part of our team building exercise, we were able to tour the Biltmore House. We were actually allowed to do a "behind the scenes" tour and saw parts of the house that aren't open to the general public, including going out onto the rooftop deck. Thanks again Uncle Astra!

Business

This week, I've been in a meeting with my company ~ which happens to be about 15 minutes from Greg's office. We're staying at the Grand Bohemian hotel~very nice, just reminds me a little of the Adams Family. I'm very fortunate that Greg has been able to stay with me overnights, so he doesn't have to drive back and forth to work for these 3 days. We're even more thankful that Gigi and Bubba agreed to come over and run after Reagan and Cooper.

Here are some pictures of the room we're staying in.

Thanks Uncle Astra for a little weekday getaway!

Bling-Bling

Mamaw & Papaw gave Reagan some clip on earrings a few months ago. On Saturday, she remembered she had them and nothing would do until she had them on her ears! Again Sunday, she wanted to wear them to church (and all day after we got home). And of course her famous statement, "I sure hope Mr. Ray likes my earrings". Her hair had to be fixed so her earrings could be seen.

19 Months

Cooper turns 19 months old today. Hard to believe how much he's accomplished ~ he's a walking, talking, climbing, hugging, kissing, Reagan chasing, jumping, dancing, talking, loves to clean with his broom, loves to mow the road and ride in his car, hates the car seat or being confined in any capacity, loves to eat, but loves to sleep even more kind of boy (and, may I add, the cutest little boy I've ever seen)! He's sweet and rough all rolled into one! We love this little man so much and are so thankful that we were chosen to be his parents!

Another Haircut

Reagan has asked to get her haircut for the last month, so today we actually took the time to do it! When we got to Fantastic Sam's, she asked for her stylist by name and sat perfectly still while she had 4 1/2 inches cut from her hair. Reagan even brought her own tin container to put her lollipops in after she was finished. Her hair now brushes the tops of her shoulders ~ a nice length for summer.

We're Members

Today, we joined the Catawba Science Center. Reagan and Cooper really enjoyed looking at all the exhibits and animals. This membership will provide hours of fun on hot, rainy, cold or lazy days when we just need to get out of the house.
