Daddy / Daughter Dance

Tonight, our church held a Father/Daughter dance and Reagan couldn't wait to go. She counted down for a couple of weeks until the big night. She asked for a brand new dress "with major twirl factor so that she would spin big!" Here are a few pictures before the big event ~ I didn't get to attend the dance, so I missed on all the action shots! The theme was a masquerade ball and all the girls were given masks when they entered the dance

Kindergarten Physical

Yesterday, Reagan went to the doctor for her kindergarten physical. She did very well considering she had to get FOUR shots!

Here are her stats: 5 years old
40.0 pounds
3'6" tall
BMI: 16.0
BP: 88/76
Vision: 20/20
She's in great physical shape for kindergarten (now if I could just get in emotional shape!)
Getting her blood pressure checked for the 1st time
After the visit, she played with the triceratops. She made sure to tell all the doctors and nurses what type of dinosaur he was and that he is a herbivore!
A special treat - an ice cream sundae with mom
Delicious!

Sunday Supper

The kids and I went to Old McDonald's for dinner tonight (our house was being shown ~ which the people liked, however they decided to go with another house that better suited their needs ~ and Greg was on a hike with a few BAM men). They enjoyed a delicious (although not so nutritious) dinner and playing on the playground.

All smiles and ready to eat
Big bite!
Drinking from a big cup
Good conversation
Sliding down the tunnel
Caught in action
A little dessert for making "happy plates"
offering me a bite of her ice cream
yum!

When we got home, they enjoyed watching cartoons ~ side by side!

Gold Medal Performance

Today, Reagan's gymnastics school had a "Fun Meet" for all of the kids who aren't on the competitive team. The schedule was just like a real meet with 4 events running at the same time (they also did a routine on the tumble track ~ because that is a fan favorite!), and each child doing a routine on each event. The ages ranged from 5 to 15. At the end of the meet, each kid was given a medal and a certificate for participating.

Getting ready for her turn on the tumble track A forward roll to dismount
Saluting the audience
The team getting some last minute instructions from Ms Angela

I have the entire gymnastics meet on video if you ever want to watch it!! We were so proud of Reagan. She's only been in the 5 year old class for 3 weeks and has learned so much.
