Spirit Week - Wednesday

Today was class color day and Reagan's class was assigned the color....ORANGE. Not good news for Reagan. She did not want to wear orange to school today, but she showed her school (and class) spirit and put on the orange shirt. I thought she looked rather cute!!

not excited about wearing orange or getting her picture made
that's a little more like it!
Cooper was ready for his picture

Playing Dress Up

Cooper had an exciting day at school, he got to be both a fireman and a pirate!

Ms C's husband is a firefighter and he came to the school and put on his gear for the kids ~ and then the kids got to try on his hat (helmet? I'm not sure!)
"Arrgh, matey!" said Cooper to his best bud Noah
Thanks teachers for taking pictures when I can't be there to do it myself!

Spirit Week - Tuesday

Tacky Day was the theme for today during Spirit Week at Reagan's school. She helped pick out her outfit last night, but when it came time to put it on this morning, Reagan was a little hesitant in wearing clothes that don't match. She said, "this is ugly and I look funny!" She was a trooper and wore her tacky outfit anyway!

Looking pretty tacky!
Love the white socks and shoes after Labor Day!
Of course, Cooper wanted his picture made too
Strutting her stuff

Cooper likes for the pictures to talk, so we have to make videos every time we take a picture

Spirit Week - Monday

This week Reagan's school is having their biggest fundraiser of the year - Track Attack. Each child will walk for 40 minutes around the school's track and raise money either per lap or a flat donation (we'll be contacting you soon if we haven't already!). To celebrate this big event, the school is having a Spirit Week. Today's theme is Cougar Pride ~ each child was asked to wear a school t-shirt or an animal print.

Reagan did not want to have her picture made this morning ~ this is the best I could get.
Cooper, on the other hand, couldn't wait to get his picture made!

Tailgating for Jesus

This morning at church ~ in honor of our campus's 4 year anniversary, we tailgated for Jesus! We set up just like you would for a football game, but this time we did it all for Jesus. We had great food and fellowship before the first service and also between services. It was a great time to meet people that go to a different service than we do.

T is for Trinity (Tennessee on Saturdays!)

The Solesbee's had the setup!
Cooper eating his 2nd breakfast of the morning ~ a biscuit
Reagan had a 2nd biscuit too!

Playing catch with daddy
How sweet is this face?

Chasing dad
Cooper eating breakfast #3 ~ a cinnamon roll

The parking lot filled up quickly

Duane gave a brief reading of the Word before going into service
Mr Ronnie had an omelet station set up
I kept Cooper's class today
it was fun to watch him interact with other kids

he got a little jealous when I held other kids, so he wanted to act like a baby!
Cooper zoomed around the class all morning

Here is some of the crowd outside tailgating in between services

It was a great day ~ we should do this again soon!

Bed Buddies

Early this morning, around 5am, Greg and I were awakened by laughter coming from upstairs. Reagan and Cooper were playing and having a great time. However, when it was time to get up for the day, they were O.U.T!

Clutch Performance

We went to wake Cooper from his nap this afternoon, and this is how we found him sleeping. I don't think he'd moved since he laid down! The only thing missing is his hat ~ he had taken it off for a haircut and hadn't put it back on his head!

Mickey is firmly in his grip!
