Thankful

We were so blessed to have our families come and join us for the day after Thanksgiving meal. Since everyone had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, we grilled steak and shrimp! And had Ginger's delicious apple pie for dessert.

Happy Thanksgiving 2010

This is how we spent our day...

Cooper decided he would cook since I wasn't!

Reagan spent most of the day doing artwork

Cooper practiced being the "Birthday Prince" (pretend it's a crown and not a tiara!)
they spent a little time loving on each other
We went to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving dinner (and so did most of the city!). We passed the time by rocking

being silly
being sweet!
having fun
For dinner, Cooper and Reagan chose the traditional dinner of...pancakes!!

the last activity of the day...watching a cartoon before bed

Spectacular Sunshine-y Day

School's out and the weather's great ~ so we spent most of our day outside!!

Enjoying a sucker after getting a flu "sniff"
Of course, we had to go for a stroll around the neighborhood with the mower

time for a little work in the back yard

Turkey Time

One of Cooper's teachers brought in a stuffed turkey that her father had shot. The kids loved it so much she had to take it back home the same day for fear it wouldn't have any feathers left!! She was kind enough to send me a picture of Cooper petting the turkey!
