Christmas with Mamaw & Papaw

Today, we celebrated Christmas with Mamaw and Papaw. We spent all day at their house and had a great time with all of our family.

Cousins
Cooper, Reagan, Keira & Joshua

The adult table

A cat came to visit Mamaw & Papaw and Cooper couldn't resist petting him

We tried to get a "cousins" picture, but it is very hard to get two 5 year olds, a 3 year old and a 2 year old to cooperate. The 20 year old smiled in every picture!!!

Reagan wanted to do a silly picture
Time to open presents...
squinkies for Reagan
marshmallow guns for Cooper

A new firetruck for Cooper

The girls played school for quite a while today
After a hard day of playing Cooper climbed on the bed and got in napping position!
Kim and Megan thought that was a great idea!
Megan, Reagan and Keira signed Mamaw's cast

Cooper's nap didn't last long...it was time to play with Byrd
these boys played this forever

a little dessert break
I didn't get too many pictures of the day ~ I was too busy visiting with family (and playing referee!)

Christmas with Gigi & Bubba

We finally made it to Gigi & Bubba's house after travelling 5 hours in the snow! We began our Christmas festivities with a steak and shrimp dinner and then moved on to the opening of the presents.
Reagan's ready to eat ~ Cooper didn't want to be in the photo!!
The adult table. Reagan said she shouldn't sit at the kid table because she was big now. She's 5 1/2!
Gigi helping Reagan open her 1st gift of the night
Cooper opened a set of safari animals
A talking Buddy & Tiny for Reagan
More dinosaurs for Reagan
Oh, no...a gun for Cooper

A train track

A new skirt for Reagan
Opening is over...Playing begins

Merry Christmas!

The Day After Christmas

We awoke the day after Christmas to more snow. It had apparently snowed all night.

doesn"t our house look beautiful?

7 1/2 inches fell in 24 hours

Now, the fun begins....

We decided to brave the mountains to go visit both sides of the family just like we had planned before all of the snow
For the most part, the roads had been cleared...except for the mountains~which needed it the most!
Cooper enjoying a movie
then, he took a 30 minute nap (I had a picture of Reagan playing opossum, but I don't know where it went)
