Snow Play

School's out today for snow ~ we had about 5 inches fall overnight and this morning. We took full advantage of the day together (minus Greg, he crazily braved the snow and went to work).

the view from our front door

Let's play

Reagan getting ready to sled down the driveway

trying to catch snow on her tongue
Cooper tried too

a snowball fight broke out!
Cooper tasted the snow

Reagan made a snow angel (or 4)

We had so much fun playing in the snow
I was trying to take their picture and they attacked me with snowballs

We went back inside and built a fort to keep us warm
We ate lunch in the fort

We "roasted" marshmallows in the fort
putting the marshmallows over the "fire"
Yummy!
mmm!
This boy is so goofy~but I love him!

Happy Birthday Papaw!

Happy Birthday Papaw! We love you!

The kids made videos, but can't upload them today. I'll try again later ~ check back!

The Graduate

For the past 3 years, I've been in school (online) to get my Certified Medical Representative certificate. I took my last final exam before Thanksgiving. When I got home today, look what was in the mail....my diploma. I'm so excited and relieved to have this finished!!!

Congrats to me!

Silly Billies

Reagan had her gymnastics class today instead of Saturday. She wanted to wear her new leotard that Cooper gave her for Christmas. I didn't get any pictures while she was in class, but I did take one of her in her new suit when we got home.

She loves this suit!!
Cooper has begun to love running around the house in the suit God gave him!
One more picture of Reagan
Cooper tried on Reagan's leotard...and it fit!
let's pretend it's a wrestling singlet!

Conversations with Reagan

Our church has a cemetery on one side of it. As we were driving around the cemetery to find a parking spot, Reagan exclaimed "I see dead people!"
"You what?"
"See those flowers? That's where dead people live"

A Little "Taste"

It may have been 10 hours late, but the kids wanted to ring in 2011 in style!

Cheers!
their first "taste"
I even let them use the crystal stemware!
I think Cooper liked it; Reagan wasn't too sure

New Year's ~ 2011

Hard to believe the new year is upon us!

Greg bought some "bubbly" for us to ring in 2011!
We actually made it!!
Happy New Year!
Time to break out the sparkling cider

Cheers!
