Full Calendar

Who knew a 3 and a 5 year old could have such busy schedules! Our Saturday was packed with soccer skills evaluation, t-ball sign up, gymnastics and a birthday party...not to mention that Gigi and Bubba were in town for the weekend (they were troopers and didn't seem to mind the busyness!).

Reagan's school had their skills evaluation for soccer. There were about 40 kindergartners who were participating.
Each child had to dribble the ball through the cones as fast as they could
Reagan was an "expert"!

Next, they had to kick the ball into the goal from 4 different distances
"that was exhausting!"
Waiting her turn

Reagan did a few gymnastics tricks while waiting ~ I wonder if this is a sign of things to come at the games!

Watching the other kids

The final skill was to be the goalie and stop the ball from going into the net
During a bathroom break, Reagan showed us her hand print she got to paint on the school wall.
After soccer, it was Cooper's turn to be signed up for t-ball. Here's Greg filling out the paperwork.
Our next activity was gymnastics.
Cooper doing straddle stretches

table tops
Reagan doing bridges
doing knee scales on the balance beam
center splits chalking up
getting some instruction from Ms A
After all of our sporting activities, we ate lunch at the "fireman's restaurant" as Reagan likes to call it.
After a brief rest and change of clothes, Reagan went to a birthday party for one of her classmates.
They played a game of musical chairs

they ate pizza
Hitting the pinata
playing on the playground
picking up the candy from the pinata
showing off all her loot
the birthday party attendees
Reagan is just so cute
Reagan couldn't wait for Natalie to open the card from her
And finally, after baths Reagan, Cooper, Gigi and Bubba read books and watched a cartoon before bed
So much for resting on the weekend!

Practice

We signed Reagan up to play soccer at her school. Skills evaluation is next weekend, so Greg thought he may need to show her a few moves before going to the evaluation. So we bought her a soccer ball and some cones...and the practice began. Hopefully, I'll be able to upload videos later ~ she is precious!

Her ball is pink, of course

Go girl, go

kick!

playing keep away from daddy

she kept saying "I am awesome at this soccer game!"

While we were shopping, Greg thought Cooper needed a T-ball and bat. So, after his nap, his practice began too. (again, hopefully I'll be able to upload videos soon)

I can see this face on a baseball card in the not too distant future!
