Boatin' and Fishin'

After a lazy morning (a pedicure for me, lawnmower rides for Cooper and Reagan staying in her pjs until 2pm).  We took a late afternoon boat ride.  Reagan had wanted to watch the sunset on the boat like we did last year, but the skies were overcast and rain was in the forecast.  So we went on a boat ride while we had the chance!

After dinner, Greg and I went and bought Reagan and Cooper fishing poles of their own and some worms.

Papaw Carl

I took a break from the Grand Opening festivities and drove down to see my Papaw Carl.  He's been in the hospital for quite a while, has recently had his right leg amputated and multiple other surgeries ~ but he is a tough man and the Lord is not through with him yet!

Even though he had surgery this morning, he was gracious enough to smile for a picture with me and my sister Kim!

Grand Opening

We travelled to Tennessee on Thursday after work to visit Gigi and Bubba.  Bubba has recently opened a lawnmower store and this weekend was his Grand Opening!

Spending Money

The family went shopping yesterday after church and Reagan spent some of her birthday money to buy a couple of new outfits and a necklace making kit.  She wore one of her new outfits to school today.

 she asked if she could wear this shirt when we went on vacation.  I told her of course she could.  Then she asked if we could stay on vacation for 19 days!!  Don't I wish!

New Hat

Bubba brought Cooper a new hat when he visited last.  It has taken a couple of weeks for Cooper decide that he wants to wear it (he doesn't like hats that aren't broken in!), but today was the day he wanted to wear his "Bad Boy" mower hat to church...of all places!
