Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Heart Day 2012!  The kids started out the morning with Valentine gifts left at the table and a "hearty" breakfast.

Cooper started in the half-day program at school yesterday.  He will only be going on Mondays and Wednesdays, but his teacher asked if he would like to come to their party today.  Cooper is always up for a party!!

Here he is with some of his new friends
 he makes friends so easily!
his new classmates and new teacher, Ms J

finally getting to open his Valentines
After Cooper's party, we went to the grocery store, had lunch and he took a nap!  Cooper decided to make a special desert for the family tonight, so we baked cupcakes ~ he chose "Funfetti"!

this is so fun!

such a ham!

"please hurry and bake!"

Cooper wanted to let Reagan help him put the frosting on the cupcakes ~ so we waited until she got home from gymnastics and they went for it!

a taste test is always needed!

adding a few sprinkles ~ blue, of course

so proud of his project today
she was glad Cooper waited on her to finish the cupcakes
Hope you had a great Valentine's Day too!

School Times

A few pieces of school work from Reagan and Cooper.

During school time at home, Cooper and I worked on Valentine themed worksheets.  Cooper wrote his entire name by himself except for the "e"
on this sheet, he had to circle which heart was different
Reagan is learning about money at school.
"If I had $100 I would...I would save it. I would cep (keep) it in my bedroom.  I would put in my druw (jewelry) box.  I hope it would be saf (safe).  Is that a good plase (place) to put my 100 doller (dollar) bill?"
