Last Day of 1st Grade

Where does the time go?  While we've been ready for summer for a few weeks now, it seems impossible that Reagan has completed the 1st grade and by the end of the day, she will be a 2nd grader.  Here are a few pictures before school this morning.

Ice Cream Party

Reagan's class held an end of the year ice cream party this afternoon.  We arrived a little early, so Cooper was able to play at recess with Reagan.

Terrific Kid

Reagan was recognized as a "Terrific Kid" at her school today.  Terrific Kids is a student-recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance. “Terrific” is an acronym for Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive and Capable.  We are so proud of Reagan!

 None of the kids knew they were getting this award.  They were called over the intercom to come to the Media Center.

 When she came into the media center, she said over and over, "so, what does this all mean?"  She had no idea she was getting an award.

 Only 2 kids per class are given this award each 9 week ~ it's a real honor

Last T-Ball Game 2012

Tonight was the last game of Cooper's t-ball season.  He has been a great player and sportsman.
