Vacation 2012 - Day 1

Our first full day of vacation was wonderful.  We spent time on the beach building sand castles and searching for shells.  Time was also spent at the pool swimming, jumping and splashing!
Reagan, Gigi and I headed to the beach first while the boys were at the pool
she made a couple of friends and they built sand castles
then she decided to build her own home for the crabs she caught
we went to the pool and found the boys heading for the beach
 catching a big fish!

 trying to control the fountains
 he did it!
 jump
 splash
 swimming without his shark
Cooper helped everyone adjust their chairs

 Cooper back at the beach
We ate dinner at STEAMERS Restaurant
and of course, had ice cream at the FROZEN MOO
 delicious ice cream
Greg told Cooper he could eat more ice cream if he stood up.  So, like father...
like son!

We've Arrived ~ Vacation 2012

We traveled to Hilton Head today and the kids couldn't wait to get in the pool once we were there.  While Greg and Bubba did the grocery shopping and picked up pizza for dinner, Gigi and I watched Reagan and Cooper break in the pool for the first time this vacation!
big smiles
 where's Reagan?
 there she is!
Cooper found a friend who let him borrow his boat
 playing in the fountains
the sun had gone down and the wind was blowing when the kids got out of the pool ~ they were a little cold!
the weather forecast isn't the greatest for this week, but we're going to make the best of it!

The Optimist Club held an end of season celebration for all of the t-ball teams tonight.  Trophies were given out, there was a bounce house and a fire truck came for the kids.

Cooper improved so much this season.  It will be fun to see how he does with machine pitch next year!

1st Grade Memories

Cooper and I were able to spend part of the day with Reagan on her last day of 1st grade.  It was so fun to see how much she has matured over the past year.

They were signing yearbooks when we arrived
most of the kids asked Cooper to sign their yearbooks too
 Reagan and Ms R
we also ate lunch with Reagan
Cooper ate his lunch, some of mine, and a little bit of Reagan's too!
after lunch, there was a cookie cake in celebration of a classmate's birthday
 Ms R's 1st grade class 2011-2012
finally, it was time for recess!
Reagan had a great 1st grade year.  She has excelled in every subject and has become an avid reader.  We although we'll miss 1st grade and Ms R, I can't wait to watch Reagan grow next year!
