Summer Fun

Continuing to enjoy our lazy days of summer, the kids and I had a full day of activities today.  We started by bowling in the morning and finished with a swim in the pool.
Great form
Cooper picking out just the right ball
watching his ball roll down the lane
she had so much fun today
Cooper looks like he's running with a basketball instead of a bowling ball!
 sibling shot
doesn't it look like he's about to dribble the ball?
Cooper was the ball distributor today
 scores for game one
after lunch and a quick cartoon, it was on to the pool
she looks like a professional with her swim cap on!
 jumping off the diving board
 big splash
our friends came out to swim with us

Pool Day

What better time to be "retired" than in the summer.  The kids and I are taking full advantage of the few weeks of summer we have left (it doesn't hurt that our friends' house where we're staying has a pool!)
jumping in!
Cooper always has a smile on his face
for some reason, they spent most of their time playing in the hot tub
Cooper practiced his swimming with his face in the water
 underwater babies
 backstroke
it was hard work getting this picture!

Day at the Lake

We spent a lazy day at Gigi & Bubba's house today.  Cooper went to work with Bubba early in the morning. Greg, Reagan and I came to visit the shop later in the day.
Cooper's work includes test driving mowers
Reagan tests the comfort of the seats
Reagan was also the greeter for the day
Cooper wanted to show Greg how the lawnmowers worked
 two thumbs up!
Reagan bored rather quickly of the work and went and sat in the van!
a boy's work is never done ~ he cleaned out logs from the lake
Reagan came down to the lake to supervise
she really wanted to ride on the boat!
Finally, a boat ride.  No swimming today as a storm was nearing, but we did get to spend a little time on the lake
Cooper waved at the passing boaters
After dinner and ice cream, Cooper rode his 4-wheeler
