Saturday Cinema

Family movie nights are fast becoming a favorite around our house.  The kids love to be in the basement, eat and watch a movie!  Greg & I like it too!

Girl Scout Aviation Day



Today, members of Reagan's Girl Scout Troop attended a special event at the local airport.  They were celebrating women in aviation and letting the girls know what types of careers were available in the aviation field.

they got to sit in a 2-seater Cessna plane 

 making sure the propellers are smooth before take off

 learning about the Civil Air Patrol

 trying out the controls (or lack there of) on a glider plane

 they met a female commercial air line pilot

 they pretended to be airplanes and were shown how the air traffic controller keeps them safe and in line

 playing with tools like Rosie the Riveter!

 After the fun at the airport, we met Cooper and Greg at the lawnmower store then we all went to lunch with Gigi & Bubba at Sonic

Friday Fun



The kids spent this afternoon enjoying the warmer weather.  They played with bubbles, on the playset, and in the sandbox.
