Zoo Visit

With the cooler weather, the kids and I headed out for an afternoon adventure!  We received annual passes to the zoo for Christmas and we put them to good use this afternoon.  We enjoyed the animals, cool weather and spending time with each other.

Cooper's Kindergarten Physical

My boy's growing up.  Today we went to the doctor for Cooper to get his kindergarten physical.  Here are his stats at 5 1/2 years old:  weight 42lbs, 4oz - 44%; height 46" tall - 82%; BMI 8%; blood pressure 98/58.  The nurse said he was a lean, mean machine!!

After the doctor examined him, Cooper had to get 4 shots in the thigh.  He barely flinched.  After the first set of shots he said, "ouch, that hurt!"  No tears, no nothing.  Cooper is one brave boy!
