A Stinky Situation

We've had a visitor hanging around our house for a couple of weeks now.  One morning, I saw her scurry under the sidewalk leading to our front door.  We called the Wildlife Resource Agency and they set a trap.  Late last night, she was caught!  Thank goodness!

The babies were so cute and pitiful crying for their momma.  Before the skunk whisperer could come pick up the momma skunk, the babies had gone back underground.

Ice Skating Party

This afternoon, the skating rink held a party for all of the classes and families.  The classes showed off the skills they learned during this session, then everyone was invited to skate!

Reagan passed her skills test and will now be in the Basic 2 class starting in a few weeks.  She earned a badge from the skating class, and mom & dad bought her a new pair of skates of her very own  She said they already make her a better skater!  

Ice Show

Reagan participated in her first Ice Show this afternoon.  The theme of the program was Broadway musicals and the Beginning Basic Skills classes skated to music from Annie.  Reagan's class skated to "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile".  I was so proud of Reagan - she skated in front of over 100 people and did wonderfully having only 8 weeks of skating lessons.

Junior Scouts

The Girl Scouts held their Bridging Ceremony tonight, where the girls remove their Brownie vest and are given a new Junior Scout vest.  The ceremony was followed by a picnic for the troop and their families.

End of Year Party - Kindergarten

Today, Cooper's class had their end of year party.  The kids had so much fun playing games, eating snacks and just running around.  Cooper has had a great kindergarten year and we will definitely miss his teacher, Ms. S.
