Family Day

We're trying to get the most out of summer and out of our season passes to Splash Country!  Since the park only has 3 more weekends left in the season, we decided to go one more time!  The kids had a great time and we rode almost every ride in the park!
someone had too much fun!

Junior Scout Meeting

Reagan's Girl Scout Troop wasted no time getting back into the swing of things this year.  Today was the first official meeting for the girls who are now Junior Scouts!  The troop has a new parent-leader this year, and I think it will be their best year yet.  There are already some great things planned!

No Jitters

Cooper was super cool about going to school this morning!  He wanted me to walk with him to his class so he could show me that he remembered how to get there!  He did great!  Not one misstep!

1st Day of 1st Grade

Field Trip Fun

Reagan and Cooper have gotten to take a lot of great field trips this summer with their summer day camp.  They've gone to the zoo, the aquarium, swimming, played putt-putt, gone out to eat, to the dollar store, to the Bounce House, to National Parks, historical sites and many more.  They even had a slumber party last weekend!

On one of their last field trips, their leader was gracious enough to take pictures for all the parents and send them home in a frame the kids made.
such a great picture of both of them

Meet the Teacher 2014

Today was meet the teacher day for both kids.  Cooper's school held theirs first.  He acted a little shy when meeting his teacher, but made himself at home exploring the classroom.
Three days until he's an official 1st grader!

Later in the afternoon, we went to Reagan's school to meet her 4th grade teacher.  Reagan knows a few kids in her classroom, so that helped ease the nerves (a little)!

Cooper & Mommy Day

Cooper and I spent the day together at Splash Country.  It was his turn to have one-on-one time with mom.  We had so much fun floating on the lazy river, sliding down the slides and just being together!
on our way
 enough pictures, let's get wet!

 on to the wave pool
no trip is complete without lunch!
so sad the day is over, but hopefully we'll get to go again before the park closes for the season

Play -N- Skate

We started the day off playing at the church's playground.  After church, we had lunch with our Bible study group and then on to ice skating practice.

another great day to play on the playground
Today was skills evaluation day.  The skaters were tested to see if they had learned the skills necessary to move up to the next level.
getting measured - Reagan should be able to glide backwards on one foot the length of her body
She did it!!!  Next skating session, Reagan will move up to the Basic 3 class!!!

We are so proud of Reagan and all that she's learned in skating in such a short time!
