Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday Greg!  The kids are on Fall Break yesterday and today, but they got up early this morning to bake a cake for their daddy's birthday!
ready to bake
 1st the cake mix
 then, the water
 next is the oil
 Cooper added the eggs
 time to mix the batter
Reagan helped to grease the pan
 cheers!

Happy Birthday, Dad!
Finally, it's time to ice the cake
the finished product - the kids decided not to put icing around the sides
Reagan wanted to put sprinkles on the cake...stars because "daddy is our star!"
Dinner's done - time to eat cake
yum!
the kids were so proud of the "party" they put together!

zzzzz

Since there is no school tomorrow (Fall Break), Cooper and Reagan asked if they could sleep together.  Aren't they precious...when they're sleeping!

Skating Skills Showcase

Reagan's ice skating rink held a skating party to celebrate the end of session, and to show off all the skills the kids have learned in this session.

After the skills showcase, friends and family were invited to skate with the students.  They played limbo as one of the activities.
Ginger was gracious enough to skate with Reagan this week

Stay at Home Saturday

For the first time in a very long time (almost a year), we were able to spend our Saturday at home.  Cooper's soccer game was cancelled due to all the rain we've had lately, and the ground was too wet to go to a Pumpkin Patch like we planned.  So, we just enjoyed sleeping late and doing nothing.
the girls had homemade waffles for breakfast
Cooper did have to do a few chore - taking out the recycles...in daddy's shoes

Sleepover

Reagan was so excited to have her friend Annabelle sleep over tonight.  They have been planning this for months - tonight was the first night we could get our schedules to coincide!  The girls had so much fun playing...and there were lots of giggles to be heard!

Breakfast Dates

Greg and I had separate breakfast dates with the kids this morning.
Cooper chose Dunkin' Donuts
Reagan and Greg attended the All-Pro Dad meeting at her school and won the prize drawing for free Chick-Fil-A!!

Fall Color

It had been almost 6 months since I'd had a haircut (and my gray was beginning to show!), so I made an appointment for a cut and new color today.
Greg always says, "I thought you were getting your haircut"
