Sick Day

Cooper got up this morning saying his belly hurt.  He didn't eat breakfast, but I wasn't too worried because he would have finished his morning snack and lunch at school by 11am.  School starts at 7:45am, but by 8:10am, school had called saying he needed to be picked up - he was sick...his belly hurt and felt like he was going to throw up.  When I picked him up, the school secretary said he was the 5th child to go home already that morning.

he also took a 3.5 hour nap.

Cooper did get sick a couple of times today, but we're hoping it's just a 24-hour bug.



Big Orange Gear

Cooper was in the Volunteer spirit today - he pulled out his orange shirt and his brand new shoes to match!

Zoo Day

We spent our Saturday visiting the animals at the zoo.  It was a perfect day - we were there first thing in the morning when it was cool and not too crowded.

Labor Day 2013

We spent our Labor Day at Gigi & Bubba's.  Cooper rode the 4-wheeler and went on a boat ride.  We ended the afternoon with a cook out and homemade ice cream.

End of Summer Fun

This weekend was the last weekend of the season for Splash Country to be open.  So, we took full advantage of it.  After church, we rushed home to change into our bathing suits, stopped at Bojangle's - ate it in the car, and headed to Sevierville to have some fun!  The kids (and we) had so much fun riding the water rides and just playing in the wave pool and splash pad.  Cooper & Reagan screamed like little girls while riding some of the rides - our ears are still hurting!!!

 

Friday Night Football

Tonight, we attended our local high school's football game.  We pass the field every day when taking Reagan to her school and Cooper always asks if we can watch them play.  Since we didn't have Bible study tonight, we took the kids on a family date.

He loved the game, although he may have enjoyed the band a little too much

Reagan liked watching the cheerleaders, the band, and the game.  She was very interested in how the game was played and how the teams scored points

Full Day

Today was Cooper's first FULL DAY of Kindergarten.  This is the first day all of the students will be in class together!  He was a little nervous, but walked in like a big boy after giving me a high-five!

Busy Day

Today was a busy day for our family.  Cooper had his second half-day of Kindergarten.  Reagan's Brownie troop started up their meetings for the year, our church had a back to school party for the kids and Reagan led worship with her Kid Rave crew, AND I had to go to parent night at Cooper's school.

Skater Girl

Reagan was invited to a classmate's birthday party at a local roller skating rink.  She had so much fun and even skated by herself a little.  She hadn't been skating since she went to another friend's party last year!

We had a good time, but my backside will be sore for a while to come!  I took a pretty hard fall when Reagan grabbed on to me to get her balance.  I'm getting too old for this stuff!!!!
