Helping Hands

Reagan helped daddy work in the yard this weekend.

Won't be long before she'll be doing this by herself!

Weekend Visit from Mamaw & Papaw

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my 35th, yes 35th birthday. We celebrated all weekend beginning with a surprise red velvet cake (my favorite) from Greg on Friday. Mom and dad came up for my birthday weekend too!

My 1st birthday cake in 12 years ~ and I've enjoyed EACH AND EVERY calorie in it!
Everyone enjoying the cake Reagan usually only eats the icing, but red velvet must be her favorite cake too. She ate an entire piece. Cooper enjoyed juice. 2 months buddy, 2 more months. On Sunday (my actual birthday), we ate at Olive Garden after church Reagan kept saying, "this is so much fun, I'm having so much fun!" We have to get her out more often! Cooper had his 1st taste of fettuccine alfredo He even licked the plate!

So Excited

Cooper gets so excited when Greg comes home from work every day. Watch his little legs just kick when he realizes Greg is home!

Big Trouble

Cooper is in to EVERYTHING these days. If it is within reach, he's going to get a hold of it and try to figure out how it works.

He's taking apart my plants
Acting all innocent!"I'm not doing anything"Now, he's trying to get into the fireplace. We've tried to block him best we can
He may have a future in furniture moving
Reagan told me today that I was "her best friend ever" That makes my heart so big!

Caught

Caught in the act!! Cooper's nickname is Dozer, as in Bulldozer. It doesn't matter what is in his way, he'll go over it to get what he wants! Here are a few pictures of him being all boy.

He loves the dishwasher and any chance he gets, he tries to climb in it. Usually I'm quicker than he is, but not today!
How could you get mad at that sweet face? He's discovered the cabinet with all the Tupperware in it. One of his new favorite places to play. Another favorite place to play...the refrigerator. Greg and I are really in for it when he starts walking!

So Much Fun

We're getting out and enjoying the nice, cool evenings while we still can. Cooper loves being outside with the big kids, and Reagan thinks she is a big kid!

Cooper taking over driving duties
"I'm so happy"
Cooper in the driver's seat

Reagan thinks she's one of the big kids
How sweet are they?

I could just eat him up!

Excitement in the big car
At school, Reagan learned that squirrels and reindeer eat acorns, so she was busy collecting acorns and setting them on the sidewalk for the squirrels to come eat

Cooper had to get a better view of what was going on
Looking for more acornsReagan couldn't let Cooper stay in "her" car, so she had to take over Then, she decided that she would share... ...and push Cooper through the neighborhood

Chewing Gum

It was bound to happen. Chewing gum in the hair. Reagan has this new fascination with chewing gum, except that she likes to make balls out of it and play with it rather than chew it. So, we ended up with chewing gum in the hair.

She asked me if we needed to cut her hair off
She doesn't seem too worried about the mess she's caused
Didn't keep her from eating her dinner!
Thanks to the Food Network and the Food Detectives Show, I learned that cooking oil is the best at getting gum out of hair.
See the gum on the towel?
